Unfamiliar Darkness

We can relate to familiar darkness since it isn't the first time we have found our way through the dark, so now it just feels the contrast, is so incredibly stark.

We assume we understand other's low points, because we can say that we've been there before, but we have no way of knowing, until a brand new dilemma, is delivered to our door.

We wonder why people do the things they do, because that's not how we would've dealt with struggle and strife, but there may be unfamiliar darkness, and we have just yet to experience it, in our own recently stable life.
