The 3rd Meets the Five (Quintessential Quintuplets Story)

Chapter 10

3rd Person POV

[Third has been released from the hospital and is now living normal life. He doesn't have to impersonate his brothers anymore. The brothers think they have pulled a fast one on the sisters not knowing that sisters already know the truth. Little by little, the sisters each stopped hanging out with their certain quintuplet. Including Yotsuba but she didn't understand why. Her other four sisters though were hard at work planning on how to ask Third to the dance]

Miku POV

[My plan is simple. While we are playing video games, I will ask him. It isn't hard. It's very simple. But then again...I really want him to say "yes." How do I ensure that he does? I'm not good at this sort of thing. So I turn to the only thing that I know could help: video games. I start playing lots of RPGs and dating sims. I'm just trying to figure how to ask and all the small details like: what to wear, what to say, how to say it. Of the four sisters, my biggest threat is Nino. Third has saved her twice. She is obviously heads or heals for him and will act aggressively. I will not lose. Third is my quintuplet boy. I will not lose]

Nino POV

[Asking Third to the dance will be simple. I am the most fashionable out of all of us not to mention the best looking. Itsuki might rival me in looks but Miku is the real threat. Third didn't have to be anyone when he was with Miku. He was himself. I will not lose. I will win. I will leave a note in his locker from his "secret admirer", he will come looking for it and then find it is me, and then I ask him. It's not that hard. I doubt he would say "no" to me. I mean just look at me. This plan is fool proof. Nothing can go wrong]

Itsuki POV

[I've never done this type of thing before. Boys are so gross. I'm usually more focused on studies. But I relate to Third in having been picked on just like my sisters pick on me. My plan is simple. I just got to find the right time and just ask him. Simple. I mean...that's all you have to do. Right? I'm not good at this type of things. Ichika and I are mostly in the same boat. We haven't had that much interaction with Third so that makes her my biggest threat. She'll probably go all fancy. Well being simple is the key]

Ichika POV

[I've done auditions where a girl asks out a guy so this should be just like that. Right? The problem with me is that I didn't have that initial spark with Third. I really was with First when we met. He did get jealous though when he got me to be First's girlfriend. Well, First, you shouldn't have done that to your brother so I will make you pay. Third is a gamer so I've been looking up scripts that have a love interest that loves games. I've struggled in finding any but I think I've found that will work. I need to watch out for Itsuki though. She and I are the closet in this race. But I will not lose]

3rd Person POV

[The next day, all four sisters try enact their plans. First was Itsuki. She tried to ask Third while he was hanging out near his locker. Not knowing that the other three sisters are there as well. Ichika was looking for an opportunity to stop Itsuki. Nino was planning on putting a note in his locker. Miku was looking for an opportunity to stop Nino while also trying to ask Third if he wanted to play video games with her]

Third POV

[Today is the first day I've been at school since my injury. I have lots of catching up to do. Miku has inspired me to start wearing wireless headphones. Music is a big thing to me so it was very convenient. I'm hoping to ask her if she wants to play some video games today. I'm no longer jealous of First. I have Miku. She's all I need. I put my books away when I see Itsuki near my locker]

Third: Hey, Itsuki, can I help you?

Itsuki: I was just checking up on you and wanted to see how you're doing.

Third: I'm doing just fine. Thanks for asking. Now, I need to get to class.

Itsuki POV

[He's leaving. I can let him leave]

Itsuki: Wait!

[He turns to me with a confused look on his face]

Third: Yeah?

Itsuki: I was wondering if...

[Before I could finish my sentence, the person that I didn't want to see showed up. It was Ichika. She quickly walks over to us. There is no way that was a coincidence. She was watching]

Ichika: Itsuki, I need your help with something.

Itsuki: Why can't you ask the others?

Ichika: It's a problem only you can help with. We need to hurry. Come on.

[She pulls me away stopping me from my attempt. Darn you, Ichika! I will get you back for this!]

Ichika POV

[Nice try, Itsuki, but it isn't going to be that simple]

Nino POV

[I see Itsuki and Ichika walk away from Third. Now I just need to wait for him to leave so I can sneak my letter in. I pay extra close attention to see which locker is his]

Third: That was so weird.

[He walks away. Now's my chance. I know for certain which locker is his. I took a picture with my phone. I walk over to his locker and slip the note in. That was so simple. No way this can go wrong! I hear him coming back so I make myself scarce]

Miku POV

[I saw Nino put a letter in his locker. So she's going with the whole letter thing. Very clever. I have to get that note out of his locker before he reads it. I know what paper she wrote it on so it shouldn't be too hard to find out which one it is. Third walks back over to his locker. I have an idea but it will take timing to execute]

Third: I can't believe I forgot that!

[He opens his locker. I will "accidently" knock into him and "accidently" spill some things out of this locker. While he's picking up his things, I will grab the note and walk away with it]

Miku: Ow!

Third: I'm sorry, Miku. I didn't see you there.

[Things fall out of his locker. He quickly picks up the contents but I'm fast enough to snatch the note. Mission accomplished. Sorry, Nino, but you're going to have to try something different. Try facing him. Oh that's right. You get really nervous around boys you really like. Oh well. I turn to walk away when he stops me]

Third: Miku, I wanted to ask you something.

Miku: Go ahead.

Third: I wanted to know if I could come over to your place to play some games and listen to music.

[I smile. My plan is going perfectly. I don't have to ask him now. He already asked me]

Miku: Sure. Stop by today.

Third: Thanks.

[He walks away. I turn to go my way as well. I can't help but have a big smile on my face. I'm one step ahead of all of them]

3rd Person POV

[Little did Miku know that it was about to get a lot more complicated]
