Chapter 25

3rd Person POV

[It's been a couple of days after the dance. Everything is back to normal. Well as normal as life can be when you have 5 girls chasing after a boy. Third was hanging out with the Nakano sisters. The sisters were doing their usual routine. Itsuki was studying. Ichika napping on the couch while wrapped in a blanket. Yotsuba reading a manga. Miku sitting next to Third while listening to music. And Nino playing on her phone. Miku told the girls that she and Third aren't an official couple as of yet. The other sisters were glad to hear it. Third may not be so dense anymore, but he still hasn't chosen yet]

Third: Do we literally do this every time I come over?

Yotsuba: Pretty much. It's the like the universe has us constantly doing the same thing for some reason!

[The rest look at Yotsuba in confusion]

Third: What?

Yotsuba: Don't worry about it.

Miku: Third, have you heard this song yet?

Third: Umm...

[The other sisters saw Miku make a move. They were not having it]

Itsuki: Third, I'm having problems with this equation. Can you help me?

Third: Umm...

Yotsuba: Third, want to hear my favorite part of this manga?

Third: Umm...

Ichika: Third, let's go for a walk.

Third: Umm...

Nino: Third, can I borrow you for a second?

[Third looked at all the sisters. He had to make a chose. Little did he know that this was going to be a common theme. Before he could answer, his stomach growled. Each of the girls' eyes sparkled]

Nino: Seems like he's hungry! I can make you something, Third! What would you like?

[The rest of girls knew that they would not beat Nino in making something homemade. Their best bet was to go buy something. One by they one they excused themselves]

Yotsuba: I just remembered! I got a manga I have to go buy! I'll be back!

Ichika: I feel cramped. I need to go on a walk.

Itsuki: Need a break from studying. I'll go get something to eat.

Miku: I'll be right back, Third. Okay? Don't move.

Third: Sure.

[The rest of the girls left leaving Third alone with Nino]

Nino: So, what can I make you?

Third: Uh...

Miku POV

[I know what my sisters are up to and that won't stop me. He already told me his favorite thing to eat and I'm going to get it for him. I head to the grocery store and head to the frozen meal isle. His favorite food is better when it's made fresh but I can't cook. So I buy his favorite dish. All I have to do is heat it up and he'll love it. I definelty have a step ahead of the rest of my sisters]

Yotsuba POV

[I'm running around trying to find a food that Third would like. What do boys like to eat? When I think of boys, I think they like lots of meat. I guess I could go to a butcher but meat is super expensive. I don't have that money. I spend my money on...things. Anyway, I pass a pizza place and see a whole sports team of boys coming out with loads of pizza. I got a lightbulb! I'll get him pizza! I order him a pizza with all the meat and all tripled and the pan pizza type! He's going to love this!]

Ichika POV

[I already knew where I was heading. He and I loved the sandwich place. It brings back memories. I guess we could reenact what happened that date. I go to the sandwich place and order the exact same sandwiches that we had before. Not only will he enjoy these sandwiches, but he will also love enjoying a memory that he and shared together. Nothing could get better than this]

Itsuki POV

[When I think of boys (if I ever do) I think that they like meat. Well, I'm sure that my sisters will take that route. That means that I'll take a different approach. What's a good lunch without a good lunch without a dessert? I head to the ice cream shop. I don't know what flavor to get so I go with the safe choice of vanilla. I'm ahead this time. I bet none of my sisters thought about this! Good luck, girls, because I won this time]

Nino POV

[Third stares at me. I just asked him what he would like me to make for him. I'm the best cook out of all of us so whatever my sisters are buying won't be beat my homemade meal!]

Third: I like spaghetti.

Nino: Is that it?

Third: Was that the wrong answer?

[That did come off as a little rude. Time to fix my mistake]

Nino: Nope. If you want spaghetti then I'll make the best spaghetti you've ever had!

[I would have to make it quickly though. I have no doubt that my sisters will back soon. Making noodles is easy but now to figure out the sauce. I might have enough time to cut up tomatoes and make my own sauce but that's cutting it close. I decide to use a canned sauce but I will add my own seasonings. I start the noodles. They'll be ready in a bit. I start on the sauce. I think it's good but I need him to taste it]

Nino: Come over here and let me know what you think.

[Third walks over. I hand him a spoon and give him some sauce. He's about to eat it when I stop him]

Nino: Hey! It's still hot!

Third: Right.

[Whew. That was close. He blows on it until he's ready to eat it]

Third: I like it.

[He has a little something on his face. This is a perfect opportunity]

Nino: You have a little something on your face.

Third: Where?

Nino: Let me get it for you.

[I grab a napkin as if I'll wipe it off but in one swift motion I place my lips on his. He's a great kisser and I'm not being bias. I understand why Miku was so happy when she kissed him. I want this kiss to last forever]

Third POV

[WHAT IS GOING ON? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? I THOUGHT SHE HATED ME! WHY IS SHE DOING THIS? I'M COMPLETELY CONFUSED! WHY? JUST WHY IS SHE KISSING ME? She pulls away and has a smile on her face]

Nino: Weren't expecting that were you?

[I just stare at her completely frozen. Why did she kiss me? I thought she hated me]

Third: Why?

Nino: Huh?

Third: Why did you do that?

Nino: Because I...I...

[Before she could finish her sentence, Miku and the rest of the sisters walked in. They took one look at us and gave us suspicious looks]

Yotsuba: What are those looks for?

Third/Nino: NOTHING!

[I can't tell the girls that I just kissed Nino. By the looks of it she doesn't want to either. So I'll just keep it a secret. As of what happened for the next hour...I was constantly being asked to eat the foods that each sister gave me. I was okay for the beginning but soon passed out.]

Nino POV

[Even if I lose the food competition today, I know that I already won. I got a kiss with Third. Now Miku isn't the only one]

Ichika POV

[I saw the look on their faces and figured out what happened. Well played, Nino. You may have won today but my kiss with Third will be way more romantic]
