Chapter 37

Third POV

Nino: Third, where are you? I want to go to the movies!

Miku: Third, have time to play a game?

Yotsuba: Third, want ice cream?

Itsuki: Third, I need help on this test.

Ichika: Third, want to run lines with me?

[That is how we got to this point. I was being chased by five girls who all wanted to do something with me. I'm just one person and each girl was after me. I'm out of the hospital and hanging with the Nakano sisters. We had started dating about a week ago. It was brought to my attention that polygamy is illegal in Japan but we would cross that bridge when we came to it. Meanwhile, the sisters are calling me left and right]

Third: Can we all calm down for just a second? There is only one me!

[Silence]

Third: Thank you. That's better. I like Nino's idea. Let's all go the movies.

Yotsuba: Sounds fun! What are we going to see?

[As soon as I stated that, I knew that I made a mistake. The girls spent the next 30 minutes arguing on which movie to watch. They finally decided on one together]

Third: You good?

[They all nod]

Third: Good. Let's go.

[We arrived at the movie theater. They chose a scary movie. They all asked me to protect them during the scary parts. I told them I would. We got snacks and went inside the theatre. They started arguing on where to sit and what order but were able to settle it before the move began. They would rotate the order. We were sitting in the very back so no one would be disturbed. First was Itsuki. She covered her eyes the whole time and clung to me]

Itsuki: How could they do such a thing?

Third: It's just a movie. Calm down.

[The next one was Yotsuba. She really didn't pay attention to the movie. She was eating all the snacks]

Third: Should I tell you what's going on?

Yotsuba: Sorry. I'm busy.

[Next was Miku. All she did was wrap her arm around mine. She kept a stoic look on her face the whole time so I couldn't tell if she was scared or not]

Third: Did that part frighten you?

Miku: No. Japanese War Lords deal with stuff much worse.

[Afterwards was Ichika. She just used me as a pillow]

Third: Are you even paying attention?

Ichika: I'm an actress. I already know it's all fake. I know how it works. Now let me sleep.

[Lastly was Nino. She played the role of the "scared girl" perfectly]

Nino: I'm scared, Third. Please protect me.

[The move ended and well decided to go out and eat. They rotated on that too. It was Miku's turn this time. We went for some Asian food. They spent the whole time bickering but we laughed after it all went down. It was a perfect day but it ended very badly. A limo pulled up to us and out walked a man and a woman. Followed by another limo and man exiting]

Third: Mom? Dad?

Ichika/Nino/Miku/Yotsuba/Itsuki: Dad?

Third: Why are you here?

Dad: We're here to congratulate the happy couple!

Mom: We heard that you got engaged!

Mr. Nakano: So, Third, who is the lucky girl?

[All of our hearts stopped. We weren't planning for this to happen so soon. What were we going to do?]

Third: Um...
