Chapter 11

Third POV

[I'm heading over to the girls' place to play video games with Miku. I'm very excited about this. I'm looking forward to playing this game and hanging out with Miku. She's the only one that I didn't have to pretend to be someone else with. It's a normal relationship]

Nino POV

[Third didn't meet me after school the way he was supposed to. There is no way that he could figure out that it was me. That wouldn't make sense. Then why didn't he meet me? I'm walking to my room and I pass Miku's. I see something in her room that makes my blood boil. I see the note that I left him. I guess she forgot to throw it away and accidently kept it. I guess she was planning on using it herself. Well, I heard that he's coming over to play games with her. She's not getting an opportunity to ask him]

3rd Person POV

[Third enters the room. He sees all of the girls up to their usual shenanigans. Ichika is reading something to herself. Yotsuba is reading manga. Miku is listening to music. Itsuki is studying. And Nino is texting on her phone. Everything is normal. Third walks over to Miku]

Third: So, are you ready to play?

Miku: Sure.

[Before Miku and Third can walk away, Ichika walks over to Third]

Ichika: Third, I need to borrow you for a second.

Third: What's up?

Ichika: I'm having trouble with this scene. Do you mind helping me?

Third: Isn't that why you have First?

Ichika: I heard that he was busy. So, please? Lend me a hand?

Third: I guess. Miku, I'll see you in your room in a second.

[Miku stares down Ichika while the latter has a smile on her face. Miku nods and smiles and then walks away]

Third: So, what's the script?

Ichika: It's about a girl confessing her love to a gamer.

Third: Cool. I didn't know that there were plays that had gamers in it.

Ichika: Let's head to my room. I don't want to be disturbed. Makes sense.

[Third and Ichika walk away. Nino and Itsuki see what goes down. They don't like it one bit. Itsuki thought hard on what to do. Her prayers were answered when Futaro walked in. It was time for studying. Itsuki looked at Nino and they both nodded as if they knew what the other was thinking. Itsuki walked over to Ichika's room]

Itsuki: Ichika, Futaro is here. It's time to study.

Ichika: Tell him that I'm skipping today.

[Itsuki got frustrated but then got an idea]

Itsuki: I heard that father will forbid us from seeing the brothers if our grades don't improve as punishment. You better study.

Ichika: (Sigh) I guess you're right. I'll be right down.

[Nino walks over to Miku's room]

Miku: Why are you in my room?

Nino: Futaro is here. It's time to study.

Miku: I'll pass for today. Third and I are going to hangout.

Nino: Don't think I didn't know that you sabatoged me! You took the note out of his locker! You have it here in your room! You think you can use that for yourself? He would obviously know it wasn't you since you don't have my confidence.

Miku: That's the point. It's a secret. A girl can be anything.

Nino: You will not beat me. You better come down. Father will forbid us to see the brothers if our grades don't improve. Especially Third since he means so much to you. He would be viewed as a distraction!

Miku: (Sigh): You win this time.

[Third is gathered with the rest of the girls with Futaro in the living room. Third walks over to Miku]

Third: I guess tonight was a bad night. I'll come back another time.

Miku: Sure. That sounds okay.

[Third starts to walk away. Suddenly, the least expected thing happened that flipped everything upside down]

Yotsuba POV

[Those sisters of mine better know that I'm in this race too! They probably already counted me out. But nuh uh! I'm in this race. Time to do a sneak attack! They'll never suspect it. Fourth is nice and all but he is a bit much. Also, since Third was acting as Fourth, Third knows all my secrets. Look out, sisters, because I'm about to win]

3rd Person POV

[Third prepares to leave]

Yotusba: Third, wait!

[Third turns around. The other sisters were confused on what was going on. Yotsuba didn't want anything to do with Third. So what was happening? They only thought they she had a question about Fourth. Were they so very wrong]

Third: What's up, Yotusba?

Yotsuba: The "Girl-asks-guy" dance is coming up and I wanted to know if you wanted to go with me!

[Yotusba gives Third the biggest puppy eyes she could muster. The rest of the sisters are still trying to get over the shock that Yotsuba beat all of them and they had no idea about it. They were completely blindsided. This confused Third as well. He didn't know that Yotsuba had an interest in him. The sisters looked at Third struggling to come up with an answer]

Yotsuba: Will you please go with me?

Third: Umm...
