I could hear the foot and paw steps of Nikabrik and Trufflehunter following us. They weren't very good at it.

"I can hear you," Caspian sighed turning around.

"I just think we should wait for the kings and queens," Trufflehunter advised. Caspian continued and I followed him.

It didn't matter what we did I would follow Caspian. If it came down to the Narnians killing Caspian then I would reveal my identity. I still couldn't decide if that would be good or bad. I failed Narnia, I lost hope when I should have kept fighting.

"Fine go then see if the others will be as understanding," the little badger huffed.

"Or maybe I'll come with you I want to see you explain things to the minotaurs," Nikabrik said.

"Minotaurs, they are real?" Caspian asked astounded.

"And very bad tempered," Trufflehunter added.

"Not to mention big," Nikabrik commented

"Huge," the badger muttered.

"What about centaurs, do they still exist?" Caspian asked. There was a look of fascination in his eyes.

"Well the centaurs will probaly fight on your side. But there's no telling what the others will do," Trufflehunter explained

"What about General Willow?" he asked.

I had been in the process of swallowing my spit that I started to choke. I sat there coughing and coughing. Caspian looked at me with a mix of amusement and concern.

"She is dead," Trufflehunter bowed his head.

"It served her right to," Nikabrik snarled.

"No it didn't she fought till the end Nikabrik, she was the last to surrender, and she had no choice," Trufflehunter furiously argued.

"She failed us, now look where we are. Were not even free in our own country, she was suppose to lead us to win the war!" Nikabrik yelled.

My breathing caught in my throat, I knew they thought of me this way. And he was absolutely right.

"How do you know so much about us?" Nikabrik asked incredulously.

"Stories," Capsian shrugged.

"Your father told you stories about Narnia?" Trufflehunter asked.

"No my professor," he paused and then started to walk again "Listen I am sorry these are not the kind of questions you should be asking," he said.

Trufflehunter hunter sniffed the air and then turned to look around.

"What is it?" Nikabrik asked.

"Human," Trufflehunter stated glancing around wearily.

"Him?" the dwarf asked.

"No them!" Trufflehunter exclaimed looking at the incoming soliders.

"There they are!" one screamed.

"Run!" Trufflehunter yelled.

We took off at a fast pace. I ran next to Caspian, Trufflehunter and Nikabrik following close behind. I was more worried about not running into a tree or getting impaled by an arrow. I heard a cry of pain from behind me as Trufflehunter was shot. He slid to a stop infront of me. A look of horror crossed my face. Then I got angry. Not by the lions mane would I let another Narnian die infront of me. All sounds were drowned out around me. I shifted to something far more dangerous than a simple house cat. Now that look back I realized how scary I must have been. But all the anger I had at myself for the past years all came gushing out at once, and I couldn't control myself. I shifted to an enormous black leopard. The look on Caspian's face was priceless. I foucused my attention back on the soliders. They were being taken down one at a time by something in the tall grass. One sniff and I could tell it was a mouse. Most likely Repicheap. He was everywhere, like mold.

I lunged at the nearest solider his scream of fear was cut off as he fell to the ground. I lunged for the next catching him off gaurd. I do feel guilty for what I did to all those men, but I can't change that now. Repicheap took down the last one. I saw him leap out of the undergrowth with a shout. He landed on Caspians chest his sword pointed at his neck.

"Choose your last words carefully Telmarine," he said.

"You are a mouse," Capsian stated.

Repicheap sighed. "I was hoping for something a little more original,"

"Pick up your sword," he continued.

"Uh, no thanks," Caspian panted.

"I said pick it up, I will not fight an unarmed man," Repicheap ordered.

"Which is why I might live longer if I choose not to cross blades with you noble mouse," Caspian said.

"I said I would not fight you, I didn't say I would let you live," Repicheap said.

I sighed walking over shrinking down to cat size.

"Repicheap get off the poor boy," I said sitting besides them.

"I trust you have a very good reason for this untimely interpretation cat," Repicheap spat.

"He's the one who blew the horn," Trufflehunter panted from where he lay.

The sound of pounding hooves were heard. Glenstorm lead a band of centaurs behind him.

"Then let him bring it forward, this is the reason we have gathered,"
