So, especially since Hogwarts is somewhere in the United Kingdom, there are going to be fans of BBC's Sherlock.
When a Muggleborn is sitting in the common room, quietly reading a book, a fellow student comes in dripping wet and announces that it's raining. All the fans have, of course, already identified each other. They share a quick look, and together, go "It's raining, it's pouring, Sherlock is boring. I'm laughing, I'm crying, Sherlock is dying."
Everyone who is not a fan is confused, and also kind of scared because the short little song sounds creepy, and the purebloods are still remembering the creepypastas and Slender games.
