I look at him with teary eyes. "W-What?" I stuttered. He let out a sigh and stood up from his chair. "I...I don't want to be with you. I have found someone new." He said. I bit my lip, I look down at my shaky hands. "I-I thought-""I don't love you, Cara. I love Lizzy." Ouch. My heart is torn to pieces. Four years of being together, and he wants to throw it all away.
I sniffed and gave him a small smile. "It figures." He looks down to his hands and tries to take off the promise ring I gave him on his birthday. But I stopped him. "Don't." He gave me a confusing look. "H-How about this. Just spend four weeks with me, and...and I'll let you go."
He let out a heavy sigh before nodding his head. Thank you. "Thank you." I love you. "I promise I will let you go."
"Okay. Let me just call Lizzy." And with that, he walked out of our living room, leaving me heartbroken. He doesn't even feel pity or guilty for cheating on me. But I didn't even told him.
