Makoto is generally a pretty tolerant person so if he met Nagito I think he would try to befriend him despite his creepiness
And Nagito would appreciate Makoto!
In dr3 Nagito idolized Makoto, but idk if their relationship would be that healthy in canon- I feel like Nagito would only love Makoto for his hope
So I prefer this ship in a non-despair au
But it's adorable no matter what-
