"Hey Ava!" Sophie smiles, catching up to me.

"Hey!" I smile "What's up?"

"Just happy!" She smiles.

"Because it's the first day of competition season?" I ask.

"Duh!" Sophie smiles.

"I heard that Mrs. Hanna has something planned, and I am nervous about that" I admit.

"Why?" Sophie asks.

"We have information!" Mason smiles, walking up to us with his twin sister, Makayla.

"You do?" Sophie asks, hopeful.

"No. We just heard you guys talking about the surprise and wanted to fool you" Makayla states.

I roll my eyes "You suck"

"Jock alert" Sophie says, her eyes going wide.

Let me tell you something about our school.

Us dancers get along with mostly everyone.

Mostly.

The jocks here hate us, And the cheerleaders.

Since we have competitive cheerleaders, they think they are amazing.

When spoiler alert, they aren't!

They never win and lets be honest, cheerleading is just a wannabe of dance and gymnastics.

They've been picking on us for years.

It's ridiculous.

"It's the twinkle toe squad" Justin Walker smirks.

Oh yeah, they aren't smart either.

"What do you guys want?" Sophie asks.

"Just wanted to say hi to our favorite dancers" A voice we knew too well states.

William Sanders.

Junior, Football captain, QB, And possible the worst person ever.

"Hey princess" He smirks, glaring at me.

Oh also he blessed me with the nickname princess, thinking I have the perfect life.

Lies.

I roll my eyes.

"Lets go you guys" Makalya mumbles, her shy side taking over.

"What was that?" Nichole asks.

Makalyas eyes wander to the ground.

Mason looks over at his sister with a worried expresion "You okay?"

"Oh my gosh you two are so cute togther" Nichole scoffs, her annoying laugh filling the hallways.

"We get it Nichole, you sound like a dying cow when you laugh" I smirk.

"Excuse you?" Nichole glares.

"Excuse you?" I mock, imitating her voice.

"I don't sound like that!" Nichole shouts.

"Aw! The poor spoiled rich girl isn't getting her way" I scoff "Better back up before she explodes"

Will glares at me, stepping infront of Nichole "Watch yourself"

I shake my head, glaring back at him.

"Lets go" I state.

Me, Sophie, Mason, and Makayla walk past the group, smiling.

"That was awesome" Sophie smiles.

I take a deep breath.

"You just stood up to your biggest bully! You should be happy" Makayla says.

"I'm not"

"Why?" Mason asks.

"You know him, It's William Sanders, He's just going to come back ten times harder" I shake my head "Because that....that wasn't even the worst of him"

I climb into my brothers car "You're late"

"Not my problem" He shurgs,

"Yes it is" I roll my eyes, getting buckled.

"Oh well" He smiles.

"You're the worst" I state.

"Love you too sis" He smile.

"How the hell are you getting married in three months" I shake my head.

"I heard that"

"Good!"

I have three siblings.

Ryder, My oldest brother who is 24 and about to get married.

Olivia, My oldest sister, Who is a senior in high school.

And my little brother, Darren, he's five.

I'm in the middle, I'm a sophmore in high school.

I've been dancing ever since I was 3.

My mom signed me up after Olivia, But Olivia quit to become a cheerleader at our highschool.

Ryders theory is that Olivia was bitter about me being Mrs. Hannas "Favorite."

And no, I'm not her favorite!

Olivia and I never had a good sister realationship, considering that Mom spent so much time with me because of her having to come to compeititions and practices with me.

But now it's changed.

Mom has been in the hospital for about 5 months with cancer.

So now Ryder is forced to take me to practices.

As we pull into the parking lot of my studio I smile and wave at Mason and Makayla, signalling to wait up for me.
