If there'd be a place
If there'd be a place
You can't call 'home',
A house with no fireplace,
To keep you warm,
A place with flickering beams,
A place a little bit too dark,
And the air becomes a little too cold,
A little bit too stale and filthy.A place like this.
A place too lonely,
With no photos or memories,
No words, nor picture frames,
No mirrors, no front doors.
If there'd be places like these,
Whenever you would go,
Wherever it may be,
Whatever it may hold,
And you can't call it 'home',There will always be a place,
For you in my heart,
Where you can run to and call it home,
When you would will for warmth
Or whenever it gets dark.And
I will always leave the light on.____________________________________
