Chapter twenty-nine

HARMONY'S POV:

I sat in the car fiddling with my hands as we drove to 'the surprise'. I couldn't help but wonder where we were going and why he has been so secretive about it

I remember when I turned eighteen years old. I loved surprises at the time and was expecting a car as my eighteenth birthday gift.

My parents decided to surprise but, guess what they gave me instead?, A helmet because, they thought it was too dangerous to go about without helmet. I couldn't help reminiscing and laughing at all my childhood experiences
"What's funny" Adrain looked at me for a second before turning back to the road
"Just remembered my childhood" he nodded and concentrated on the road.

After few minutes, we arrived at a very fancy hotel. When we got in, we were ushered to take a seat in the far end of the room.
"Tonight's News looks interesting" he stated staring at me
"Ugh, if you didn't know this before, you should now. I hate News, it's so boring and sometimes i don't even know what they're talking about." He rolled his eyes
"That's because you're dumb" I gasped. He did not just call me dumb
"I am not dumb you monkey" he smiled
"Fine then, prove it. I dare you to watch the news for an hour" this was suicide but, I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of thinking am incapable of accepting his challenge
"Okay but, I'm hungry so order something" he smiled and called the waiter
"Yes sir, what may I help you with?" He said staring at me. His gaze lingered on a bit longer. Adrain suddenly spoke up
"For starters, how about you stop staring at my fucking wife" the boy blushed in embarrasment
"I'm sorry sir." He bowed down in shame. Aww and he was so cute
"You know what, get me another waiter. Your services are no longer required. You're fired" the boy looked like all the blood from his body was drained
"Please sir, please forgive me. I have a sick mother. Please don't fire me" I forgot my husband was not only one of the most richest man in New York but, he was also ruthless. Goodness, the young waiter was just staring, no harm done
"Adrain, please leave him alone. We'll get another waiter" he looked at me for a second before glaring at the poor waiter who's already crying
"I don't want to see you staring at my wife again, not even her shadow" with that, the boy scurried away. I gave him a knowing look
"What?" I just shook my head and started watching the news

After watching the screen for thirty minutes, I swear I started dozing. I blinked a few times when I heard something
'We are about to deliver a speech for Mrs Stone as requested by her billionaire husband Adrian stone.
 
Harmony love, I know you hate News channels and this isn't exactly a romantic gesture but, I still want to try. With you I'm willing to try anything.

Our relationship has been one rollercoaster ride. We fought, we argued, we screamed at each other but, all of that was what made me fall in love with you.

You're a kind, loving woman, who doesn't think twice to stand up for the people you love. I am so proud of you which is why I have to ask you today to be my wife.

I want you to be the first person I see when I wake up every morning. I want you to one day be the mother of my children, I want you to be the only one who talks my ear off, I want you to be the only one my heart longs for and you already are. I want you to be the only one that dares to scream at me and also, I want to be your monkey. The only man you wish to spend your life with. I want to be yours for eternity.

Harmony Beverly Stone, would you do me the honor of marrying me again?

I couldn't believe my eyes.tears streamed down my face as Adrain got on one knee holding a very beautiful diamond ring
"I want you in my forever, please marry me baby" I smiled and nodded my head.
"Yes you monkey, I'll marry you" I grinned showing all his dentition as he got up and slipped the ring in my finger. The whole restaurant cheering as we kissed each other. I keep on falling for this man each passing day. Who would have thought that he and I will be together and so in love. I'll cherish you forever my monkey.

A few days has passed after Adrian's romantic proposal and the wedding is in a months time.

Megan has put to bed, delivering a bouncy baby boy and this has made Blake to ask Adrian to help him run the company as it was half he's. This made Adrian extremely busy since he was managing Otalia's and Stone's. He barely had time for me anymore.

We've been preparing for my wedding and all but, Adrain is in a snappy mood. After bathing, I put on a sexy thong with matching bra he had bought for me and went to his office.
"Come to bed" I said  standing in front of his desk
"In awhile" he didn't even look at me. I went behind his chair and placed my hands on his shoulders.

I started pressing butterfly kisses along his neck till, I got to his ear nipping at the lobe. I found out that this is his sensitive spot, so I continued nipping at his ear lobe
"Not now Harmony....I'm busy" he still didn't look at me
"Y.. you're always saying that recently. When can I have your attention?, You're always busy with work. I miss you" I wrapped my hands around his neck and he got up, wrapping his hands on my waist
"You're right plus, I miss you too" he whispered kissing me slowly before, taking me in his office.

Weeks passed by so quickly and our wedding was finally tommorow. Preparations were already made... Megan couldn't be my maid of honor, just a bridesmaids cause she newly gave birth, so I asked Sofia and she happy accepted

I hope tomorrow goes smoothly. I love Adrain so much and want to spend the rest of my life with him forever
