5: Leo X Reader

"5: 💙 Behaving like somebody else"

Friday in the lair: the living room around 2 pm...

Leo laid on the floor with thoughts swirling inside of him. It's been at least a month since he started dating (Y/N). However, the fact that (Y/N) is a part time fashion model, he's slightly cautious about their relationship. He still remembers the first week trying to blend in as a body guard and the one close encounter where one of the paparazzi tried to ask (Y/N) about his appearance. It still sends shivers down his shell thinking about it. With how busy (Y/N) was the last two weeks, Leo tries not to think about breaking up with (Y/N). He hopes (Y/N)'s also pondering on that same thing as well. 

He loses his train of thought after hearing a knock on one of the living room walls. He turns around to see (Y/N) wearing a casual loose fitting outfit.

"Oh hey. Just popping by. Cute outfit by the way." Leo said.

"Thanks. Also I'm free for today but, I rather relax with you if that's okay..." (Y/N) asked.

"I'm down with that. Besides... Mikey, Raph, Donnie, and Dad are out chilling at the mall in their disguises doing their own thing and they'll be back by 7 pm. Hopefully..." Leo said muttering that last comment.

(Y/N) laughed in response and sat by Leo.

"I still remember that your dad fought through so many customers on the Black Friday sale last year. One of my managers wanted to interview your dad after hearing he was related to you and wanted some tips for this year. I turned her request down because of this whole situation." (Y/N) said.

"Dad would have a field day if he accepted your offer (Y/N). Funny how Donnie says he would help dad with any detail of the Black Friday mission but, he overslept in the process." Leo added.

"I still consider you to be the funny one compared to Donnie." (Y/N) said.

"Why... I'm blushing at that fact." Leo said putting his hands on his face appearing to look cute towards (Y/N)'s direction.

(Y/N) nudged at Leo's arm and grinned at their boyfriend.

"So you're going to be the adorable one for the day?" (Y/N) asked.

"Who's keeping count?" Leo said.

At 5 pm...

"Are you going to stay for dinner?" Leo asked placing his head on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

"I did say I'm free for today, didn't I?" (Y/N) said nuzzling back at Leo's face.

Leo almost froze at (Y/N)'s gesture but paused and staring back (Y/N)'s eyes.

(Y/N) recognizes that look from Leo and stops.

"You've been thinking about another 'between us conversation'..." (Y/N) said.

Leo looks away but now grasps onto (Y/N)'s left hand with his right hand firmly and carefully.

"Would it help to hear from my side first Leo?" (Y/N) asked.

Leo just nodded as his response and (Y/N) proceeds to sit toward him while they're still holding each others' hands. After letting go of one deep breath, (Y/N) starts to speak.

"I can understand why you're upset Leo and you have a right to be with how busy I am." (Y/N) said.

Leo gazes back to (Y/N) slightly fearing a break up confession but lets (Y/N) continue with their speech.

"I'm thankful you didn't show up last week because I was so close to my limit with one of the designers that there might have been a nasty exchange that could happen between the both of us..." (Y/N) said.

"That explains some of the pictures you sent me with a lot of fake smiles. Ah! Sorry for interrupting!" Leo said.

"Heh... that and I didn't sleep a lot as well but anyway..." (Y/N) said resuming the topic.

"I've decided to quit the part-time fashion model business."

Leo was wide-eyed at this unexpected comment.

"So wait... you weren't going to break up with me?" Leo asked.

"What? No! Were you considering about that with me as well?" (Y/N) said.

"Uh... maybe..." Leo said as a sweat drop appeared around his mask.

(Y/N) gave their boyfriend an unimpressed look and shakes their head.

"We definitely need a treat yo self date next week Leo..." (Y/N) said.

"Does next Tuesday sound good?" Leo said while scratching his head after the previous remark he said.

"Sure. I'm really looking forward to an actual date than the short ones." (Y/N) said.

"Plus, you won't have to deal with those annoying paparazzi in your daily routine any more." Leo said.

"They might be still around for a few months but that's also true." (Y/N) said.

Next Tuesday: In a mall near the food court - after hours at 10:30 pm...

"Those two seem to be in better spirits than the last two weeks..." Donnie said.

"I know right! I'm so glad things worked out for the both of them!" Mikey said.

"Yeah. And Leo would have eaten some of the ice cream Donnie's saving as comfort food if they broke up." Raph said.

"Hey!" Donnie yelled.

Across another food court from the three turtles sitting around a table, (Y/N) and Leo watch the three argue while eating a pizza together.

"Are your brothers teasing Donnie again?" (Y/N) asked while munching on a pizza crust.

"Probably. You missed hanging out with them as well." Leo said.

"Yep and also April too." (Y/N) said.

"Last night, I dreamt about the first date we had together." Leo said. 

"The full details or only small bits." (Y/N) said.

"The exact day from start to finish." Leo said.

"Lucky, I only have the symbolism meaning of at least one item from our previous dates." (Y/N) said.

"At least its still there (Y/N)..." Leo said.

"I guess, did you end up oversleeping again?" (Y/N) said.

"Yep! You better plan on an all nighter tonight (Y/N)!" Leo said.

"All right then. This date extends to a sleep over and I won't lose to you!" (Y/N) said.

"Yeah! Challenge accepted!" Leo yelled.
