-Chapter 7- How could you?

{ Clockwork's POV }

That.. That jerk!

I growled to myself, thinking of BEN.

If I could kill him, I definitely would..

I definitely would...

He doesn't know, does he?

He really doesn't..

I looked at the phone he gave me.

I threw it across the room, making it smash into little bits.

I hate you, BEN.

I hate you.

{ Narrator }

BEN walked in, "Clock..Clocky?" He shuttered.

"Don't call me that. What do you want, anyway?"

"I wanted to say sorry.."

"Yes, sorry. Sorry helps me. Sorry makes me forget. You say sorry and now everything is alright, isn't it?! Is that what you actually think, BEN?!"

BEN didn't say anything. He was far from Clockwork, and his eyes where wide with surprise. He has never seen her like this before.

Clockwork sighed, "Well, BEN, it isn't. This is the actual world. Why can't you realize that?"

BEN stared at her, "I- I don't know.. For a second, just for second, everything was perfect.. I thought you would love me." He growled, "Why.. Why can't you love me?! I love you.. Why don't you to me?! It's not fair!"

"It's not fair.. It's not fair..." Clockwork got up from her bed she was sitting on, "What are you, 5?! Haven't you noticed that nothing is fair in this world?! Nothing. Is. Fair! You are not the only one who had it hard, you know!" She yelled.

"Well, neither are you!" BEN yelled back, "I wish you never came here.. I wish.. I wish Jeff just stabbed you when he had the chance!" BEN yelled.

Silence grew.

Clockwork paused, looking at BEN.

"Wha.. What?" She said, quietly. "What did you just say?!" She growled.

"I said I wished Jeff stabbed you!" BEN yelled, "What are you, deaf?!"

Clockwork grabbed BEN by the collar and pushed him against the wall. She grabbed her knife and put it on his stomach, but not yet stabbed him. "This is what it feels like.." She whispered, just before jerking the knife inside her stomach.

BEN gasped, then laughed.

"You.. You really would have killed me, wouldn't you?" He chuckled.

Clockwork backed up, leaving her knife inside of him. She forgot he was immortal..

"The thing is.." BEN continued, "You can't kill me.." BEN pinned Clockwork to the ground before she knew it. "But, I could kill you.." He laughed with Clockwork's knife in his hand.

Toby walked in. Both BEN and Clockwork looked at him.

Toby gasped, "Clockwork!"

When BEN was distracted, Clockwork pushed his off and grabbed her knife.

BEN, on the floor, looked at Clockwork, smiling. He then stared at Toby with hate.

Clockwork ran to Toby and hugged him. "Toby.. Thank God you came..." She whispered to herself.

BEN looked at them with more hate.

"Well.." He said, "If you two love each other so much, Toby can stay in this room while I'll stay with Jack.."

Toby and Clockwork blushed.

"Don't think about it in THAT way, I just don't want to stay with that prick every night." BEN said, staring at Clockwork. He got up and started heading towards the door.

"Good." Said Clockwork, staring at BEN, "I don't ever want to see your idiotic face ever again."

As BEN made his way out, he peeked his head through the door, "Says the one who forgot I was immortal!" He then walked away, going towards EJ's room to welcome his new roommate.

Clocky looked at Toby, then at the mess in the room. There was glass shards, a crushed phone, and even some blood on the carpet. "Sorry.. It got a little rough in here... There was a fight and blah, blah, blah, just mind the glass."

Toby nodded and looked at the phone, "Was that BEN's?"

"No, it was from BEN. A birthday present. It was so we could stay in contact.." She stared at it, "It's not like that's ever going to happen again.." She whispered to herself.

"Well, I'm going to gather my clothes and stuff... I'll be back." He smiled.

Clockwork nodded, "I'll clean up this mess."

And she began cleaning, thinking of BEN.
