*Loki POV*

"I'm so sorry." A soft voice said. A young person, slightly shorter than I was, looked up at me. Man? Woman? Enby? No matter, they were the most beautiful and handsome person I've seen. I couldn't speak they were that jaw dropping. "Uh.. you ok there?"

I shook my head to get the thoughts away and spoke. "S-sorry, I didn't mean to get in your way of anything." The person giggled. My gods it was adorable. "No problem, man. Are you ok with me saying that?" I nodded, since they were using it as a more gender neutral term.

"You have a cool style."

"Thank you?"

"You really do!"

I smiled at this. No one, except for mother, ever said positive things if I dressed like this. "You a trans woman, nonbinary, demigirl, or...?" Oh no... No one's ever asked me this. I gulped then said softly, "Genderfluid." The person's smile grew. "Cool! I'm nonbinary. He/they pronouns."

I've never met someone who could possibly relate to stuff I went through. "What about you?" They said, "What are your pronouns?" No one's ever asked me that either. What should I say? He? She? I dunno.

"Umm... He and she."

"Cool! Name's (y/n)."

"I'm Loki."

"Like, of Asgard?"

"Was."

(Y/n) is a very calm and collected person. They talked with me for what seemed like forever, before they got a call from someone they clearly did not want to be around. "Why don't you come with me?" They looked up at me questioningly.

"What?"

"Come with me."

"I can't."

"Why?"

"My parents would kill me if I stayed out much longer, and maybe complain about my gender." I understood what he meant and took their hand in mine. "Come with me, and I'll keep you safe." (Y/n) gulped then nodded.

We left the library and quickly went to the Avengers building. Where my heart instantly dropped. Thor was standing there, as if ready to look for me. "Loki?" I looked down in shame. Here comes the hate. "You look amazing, brother... Sister?" I looked up in shock at what he said.

"Beg your pardon?"

"I'm wondering if I have a sister again."

"Sometimes? It's complicated."

"You're still my sibling, Loki."

I actually smiled at this. For years I've felt the need to hide this from everyone. Now, I feel I can be me. "You and your friend can do what you want. Just don't go too far, sibling." He gave me a pat on the shoulder before going out.

"That normal?"

"Not really."

"That's... Thor, right?"

"Yes, of course."

For weeks, (y/n) and I spent time at the library or a small cafe close by. I soon developed feelings for them, and I want to tell him so bad, but I'm scared. I finally built up the courage to tell them, when they came to me with something.

"Hello, (y/n)."

"H-hey, Loki!"

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah! Just a bit nervous."

I asked them why then they handed me something. I looked to see what it was and my jaw fell open. A copy of the first three books in the Vampire Chronicles series in one! I looked at (y/n) and couldn't help but hug him tightly. They let out the most adorable squeak and hugged back.

"You like it?"

"I love it! Thank you so much!"

(Y/n) giggled as I went on and on about it. "I could bloody kiss you right now!" I realized what I said and froze. I gulped as my skin became blue, letting out my true Jotun form. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to say-" I was cut off by a pair of lips crashing into mine. (Y/n) was kissing me?!

My skin turned back into it's now constant pale color as I kissed back, wrapping my arms around (y/n)'s waist. They pulled away and smiled. "I love you too, man." He said while pulling me into another hug. "I guess we're together now?" He asked. I smiled and gently kissed his cheek. "Of course we are."
