The bat boys have a sister, the only girl in the adopted family. She must deal with four brothers and a VERY over protective dad. She has to find her own way as a hero as well as deal with her team not knowing her identity as well as robin's.

Daphne King witnessed her parents be murdered right in front of her during a Joker crime spree. Bats took her in, she knows all of everyone's identities and is like the league's niece. Everyone is super overprotective over her. her superhero persona, which took much convincing of the entire batfamily to even let her dawn a costume, is Amethyst, she named her hero that because her mom was born is February and had a strange addiction to the color purple. Her dad thought this was hilarious and bought everything they owned in the same shade of purple. She's been with the bats for years was adopted by Bruce when she was about 9, around the same time as dick, but he was ten when they got to him, she is just a couple months younger than dick, him being sixteen though. Jason came next, He was thirteen, then Tim, who was 9, and Damian who was 7. The boys loved her and she loved them. It was like they were meant to be a family all along. Dick is still robin, but the others are training to follow in his footsteps, robin is apart of the young justice.
Daphne has brown waist length hair, that's slightly wavy, with startling blue eyes and plump heart shaped lips. She is a slim, flexible, kind of acrobat, a really good fighter, and hacking skills that could rival robin. She speaks Romani (thanks to Dick), sign language, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, English (original language), sarcasm (fluently), German, Russian, and french. She is also very stealthy, and her suit can be hidden by her black bat style cape. Obviously no guns, but has much of the same stuff as robin. The mask she has is actually just another one of robin's.
*just for imagination purposes it's much like the new batgirl uniform, except no bat insignia, no yellow and she has a domino mask, no pointy bat ears, longish batman style cape (like to her calves), black knee high combat boots, and the purple is a deep purple to help mix into the shadows more, and more utility belt pockets. Her cape isn't snap on, or her gloves and the domino mask doesn't reveal as much, basically a mix of robin, Batman and batgirl uniforms pretty much is her outfit*
