chapter 55:unsolved case

Avie's pov

Limang araw na ang nakalipas nung dalhin ako sa hospital. Kaya naman medyo okay okay na ako.

Andito ako ngayon sa school at nagbabasa lang ng libro. When suddenly, Chris and Ian came.

"Avie! There's a murder case here at the school! Duon sa cafeteria" said Ian. Kaya naman agad akong tumayo at tinungo ang daan papunta sa cafeteria.

Madami ang mga estudyante na nagkukumpulan. "Everybody! Step aside!" maotoridad na sabi ni Chris. Nakakatakot sya kapag may mga kaso. Sobrang seryoso niya eh.

We saw a student lying on the floor.

"His name is Justin Sanchez. 13 years old. He drank this juice and then died. it was cyanide poisoning" Chris said.

"I already conducted my investigation but sad to say, there is no trace of the murderer.. well she can't be the  murderer"

"What do you mean?"

"He was holding a letter coming from you. And the juice? Some students said na ipinapabigay mo iyon sakanya. Justin liked you so he accepted it without hesitations"

Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko dahil dun. "M-me? B-but I-I was just reading all the time!" I said.

"I know. That's why you can't be the murderer. I believe in you Avie" sabi niya.

"How can we explain this to the police? Papunta na nga pala sila dito" tanong ni Ian.

Ako ay hindi pa rin makapaniwala sa nangyayari. Kaya nakatulala pa rin ako.

"Don't worry. I won't tell the police about this letter" Chris said.

"Hey Avie!" Ian snapped his fingers infront of me.

"H-huh?" I asked.

"No need to worry about it okay? And sigh. this is an unsolved case" malungkot na sabi ni Ian.

Geez! Paano kaya nangyari iyon? Kahit si Chris na magaling na student detective ay hindi masolve ang case na to?!

Lumabas na lang muna ako ng cafeteria at saka pumunta sa mini garden. Nakita ko naman si Nathan na nakaupo sa ilalim ng puno.

Lumapit ako sakanya at ginulat sya.

"Boo!" Sucess! Nagulat nga sya pero mukhang malungkot sya ah?

"Nathan? Is everything alright?"

"H-huh? Ah.. y-yes."

"I don't think so.. tell me what's wrong Nathan?"

"I think I'm not her real son. She always talk behind my back. She never cares for me and she acts like I'm just her slave" Nathan said. Then he began to cry.

"I-I always do e-everything she tells me so t-that she could be p-proud of me! But she always hurts me everytime I make a simple m-mistake"

I hugged him and I am trying to comfort him. "Shhh.. Nathan.. it's alright"

"I-I'm a traitor to her. I don't want to be with her anymore. I want to be free from those illegal drugs she's making" Napaalis naman ako sa pagkakayakap sakanya.

Did I heard that right?

"W-what did you say?" Tumayo naman siya bigla at saka umalis. Pero bago pa naman siya makalayo ay humingi muna sya ng tawad.

He left me there habang nakatulala. Did I heard it right? Tama ba? Sila ba ang gumawa ng drugs na yun?

2 days. 2 days na ang lumipas nung araw na yun. Simula nung masabi niya yun, ay hindi na siya nagpapakita pa saakin.
