This story begins with a boy named
Y/N, who was sent to a boarding school for troubled youths, shortly after this the apocalypse began, now years following it they still live at said school, the kid even starts dating a girl named Sophie, but after awhile she and her twin sister Minerva are killed by a herd of walkers  on a supply run, which was right outside the safe zone, the only survivors of the brutal attack are  Marlon and Brody... The boy Y/N self doubts himself a lot at this point, he feels the world fucked him completely over, it's when his life seems god awful he and Marlon stumble upon some girl with a little kid, who were in some car wreck outside the safe zone at an old abandoned train station, that he finally starts to gets his life back on track, until he finds out a secret Marlon is hiding from him and the group

How Y/N was sent to Ericson's Boarding School for Troubled Youths, he told everyone he smoked a joint as a cover story for what actually happened, in reality it started here when his mother died, he was very young at the time, his father was a struggling boxer, he tooks bets on who could knock him out in what round a made his cash that way, but now nobody wanted to see this failure lose again, people stopped betting so he stopped getting money, it was hard for the two after her death so hard his father picked up a bad smoking habbit, he had quit years back and for a full decade was clean but not now, after awhile they were beyond broke and his smoking habits didn't help the situation either, which ended up to bitting him back he has got sick really sick, turns out he had contradicted lung cancer, soon it spread around Y/N school like a firefly, on one bad day at school some kid made fun of
Y/N's dad, in retaliation Y/N  beat that kid up, knocked his teeth out, made him bleed all over, and even fractured one of the kids ribs, this did not end well for Y/N as the police were called then he was booked into the juvenile detention center at the age of only nine years old for an assault and battery charge. Your dad he wasn't a perfect man he was far from it infact but one fact still stands, he loves his son very much, he tried so hard to make bail but he couldn't afford it to say the least, after a few days someone approached the father telling him of a rehabilitation like boarding school, this school could give his son help instead of let him sit in cell with a felony on his record, as much as his dad hated the idea of sending his own kid off to another state for some school he eventually  relinquished, but he promised his boy he would get him out of there eventually he just needed the money, so far he had to pay for the boys medical bills which left him gravely in debt, his father had done many things to pay off these debts from the odd jobs for cash or whatever else paid good, six months later scrounged up enough money to get Y/N out and then some, but his cancer had gotten too worse at this point, his father was bed written it seemed like it was only time until he'd pass, Y/N knew none of this though last he heard his father was about to pick him up soon but he never showed up and after two weeks the new broke that your father had passed in his sleep, chatter sprung out about it some say the cancer got to him well others say the guys he worked with did making his death look like a step up, Y/N again only knew his dad had passed away from cancer nothing else, he was completely devastated after hearing, he then  blamed himself for his father's death, he thought maybe if he got treatment and wasn't sent to this school for what he did, his father might still be alive

You were about 9 years old when the apocalypse begun, your father had passed a month before hand so your world was in shambles, but your friends helped you keep a level head, even after being left behind by most of the adults, they helped you figure out how to fend for yourself, then some kid stepped up to the plate it was Marlon he lead the school into the right direction, or so you all thought at the time, your best friends Sophie and Justin both taught you things from how to draw and use creative to how to survive, after a while you began to develop a small crush on Sophie, or was it something more eventually you figured that out on your own
