I was laying in bed waiting for her to come home, I rolled over to look at the alarm clock 12:42 am, this poor girl, she's constantly working and gets treated like shit by her boss.
I was half asleep when the door opened slowly and she walked in. She took her heels off and walked over to me. She kissed my forehead and rubbed my cheek.
"hey beautiful"
"hi baby, come to bed"
"yeah let me get changed i'll be there in a second"
She kissed me and walked to the closet, she walked out a minute later in one of my t-shirts and underwear. She put her hair up in a messy bun and got into bed. I immediately pulled her close and kissed her.
"I missed you baby"
"I missed you more I can tell you that"
"why don't you just quit this damn job, you get treated like shit, you work from 7:30 till midnight, that's not ok, especially not ok with me"
"I know but I need the money"
"I can take care of that"
"No Jack"
"yes baby at least while you look for something new"
"I'm an adult I wanna be responsible for myself"
"trust me you are, but just for the time being"
She thought about it for a second and looked at me, I leaned over and laid over her and kissed her, she chuckled and kissed me back.
"fine, I'm gonna quit tomorrow"
"that's my girl"
"you're so cute"
"celebratory sex?"
We both laughed.
"I'm tired! Let's go to bed and we'll see tomorrow?"
"of course beautiful"
I laid down back next to her, she put her head on my chest and I rubbed her back and we both quickly fell asleep.

I got back and closed the door quietly, I put the cake in the fridge and went back upstairs. I opened the door and saw that my beautiful wife was still asleep. I walked over and kissed her neck and jaw, she slowly opened her eyes. I smiled and ran my hand over her cheek.
"good morning beautiful"
She smiled and hugged me, I chuckled and kissed her head.
"wanna get up? I have something for you"
"what is it?"
"gonna have to get up and see for yourself"
She chuckled and sat up, she touched my neck and kissed me before getting up. I touched her butt as she got up, she looked back at me in shock as I chuckled.
"my ass"
"is fucking amazing"
She smiled and shook her head and walked into the bathroom. I waited for her and we went downstairs. She sat up on the kitchen counter, I smiled and kissed her neck.
"Close your eyes"
She smiled and did so, I kissed her because I can't not, she chuckled and I took the cake out.
"you can look"
She opened her eyes and smiled.
"aww yes! cake! I love cake!"
I smiled seeing how happy she was, I put my arm around her waist, she played with my hair and cut two slices.
"why'd you even get a cake?"
"why not, celebrating you quitting your shit job"
"I love you"
"I love you more baby"
She just smiled and we ate some cake. After a few minutes as I was getting a glass of water.
"Jack"
she said, I turned and looked at her.
"mhm"
"wanna have a baby?"
I spat my water out in the sink, I looked up at her.
"w-what?...a baby?"
"yeah? I mean since i'm gonna quit my job and the band has kinda chilled it would be a good time"
I smiled, she chuckled.
"what?"
"I've been wanting you to say that for years"
She jumped off the counter and hugged me, I picked her up and kissed her.
"so you'd actually want to try?"
"of course, I'll be blessed with both the best wife and the best baby!"
