What does this mean? Basically, artists are not born with this magical ability. They are born with a passion to draw, and since they like to draw more they get more practice. They get more practice, they get better.
It took me a while to finally accept this, and it helped greatly when I saw amazing art and got discouraged.
See... I drew this eyes years ago when I first started attempting eyes... It hurts me to see this again! It looks awful!

LOOK AT THAT! I wasn't born with that! I started awful and kept practicing over and over again, until I was able to produce that!
