Most people start off drawing dragons by only drawing them facing the side perfectly.

While this is a good way to get started, you may start falling think the habit of drawing them from the side all the time, which can get repetitive and boring quickly!
Today, we are going to learn how to draw your dragons from different angles...
Base line-art: Before I start drawing my dragon, I always begin with a circle for the head. From there, you can add simple shapes to help give you the basic idea and direction of the head. This is a great guide to yourself as you sketch out a new angle.

It doesn't have to look good at all, when sketching out your line-art. As long as you get the basic idea, you can work with that! Personally, I do a ton of side angles, so we can learn together. By no means are my examples going to look perfect, but they should get the basic idea across.
Front angle: In my opinion, one of the most difficult angles to do and make look decent.

For this angle, symmetry is crucial. I recommend drawing a + over your starting circle at the very beginning. I know this example isn't great, but I hope you can tell it's mouth is open. It is all about face symmetry and bone structure in this angle. It would be a good idea to do a few studies before attempting this, with reference pictures if needed.
Paws: The below picture is something I did not create, as credit should go to the original artist. This is an amazing guide, and very helpful when drawing toes from different angles.

I wish I had this guide when drawing my toes, because it is extremely helpful. Luckily, I think I'm getting the hang of feet...
