Ayana walked up to the stool and placed the sorting hat on her head.
"Ravenclaw!" The hat yelled.
As Ayana walked down to the Ravenclaw table, her perspective on the world changed. She was no longer Ayana Banks, the youngest overshadowed girl. She was Ayana Banks Raminez-Aperios the quick-witted Ravenclaw who wasn't afraid to find her voice. She had 2 amazing friends, Natalie and Hermione. She had a new family.
