A small clinking noise was heard repeating, Every few seconds it would stop then go again. The bolt was finally tight.

Just one more...

I place the wrench on the last bolt and begin tightening it. The clinking returned.
Paused every time I had to take the wrench off and fix my hand.

I was in the dorm alone as Annie had left to talk to Bertholdt and Reiner without me. I was fine, got to fix my fear after a failed wire reel during training.

I sigh and look at the hook and a good bit wire bundled on the ground.

Once the bolt was tight I place the wrench down and grab the hand control which was used for gas, blades and wire control. I pressed the button to reel in the wire and right enough my wire returned.

Thank Sina...

Knock Knock Knock

I walk over to the door and open it.

"Hi," Bertholdt smiled timidly

"Hey, Come in," I opened the door so he could come in

He walks in and I close the door.

"How are you?" I asked moving my 3DMG off the table and hanging it up

"Alright, Annie is taking a walk while Reiner is having to talk to Sadies about a fight between Eren and Jean," Bertholdt explained

"Again? Those two never stop," I said grabbing the small towel that was on my desk to wipe up any extra oil and wiping my face

Didn't need this anyway...

"Yeah..." He mumbled something

"What was that?" I asked flinging the towel in a small basket then began putting away all the tools

"Nothing," He responded sitting on the seat by the table

"Seriously, I wanna know," I said placing Jean's toolbox by the door so I remember to give it to him later

"Well, when I was younger, Reiner would always argue with a girl in our friend group," He looked down

"Ah, sorry, bad memories?" I asked sitting on Annie's bed since she was bottom bunk

"No, just I was so close with her until she left," Bertholdt said still looking down

"Was she a... you know..." I hoped he knew what I was hinting

"Yeah, We were always together," He said moving his eyes from the floor and to out the window

"Sounds harsh," I said not wanting to intrude his thought

He smiled, "You know Tomorrow's her Birthday?"

"Is that so?" I asked

"Yeah (Birthday Date plus Month)" His smile faded, "The day before her Birthday she left, I even got her a necklace,"

"I'm sure she would have loved it," I said reaching over and patting his back

"It's been around 10 years and honestly, I still miss her," He admitted looking at me

"It's okay, wanna know something?" I asked sitting back down from my awkward crouch from patting his back

"Hm?" He hummed looking at me

"When I was younger I was in the group, there was a boy I was always with and I was forced to leave," I said looking at him, "I remember for his birthday I got him a small drawing book," I smiled, "He always wanted to learn to draw but had nothing to practice on so I got him it an he was a natural,"
