written all over your face is mystery
around you are people falling
like you turned off gravity
your existence is hard to miss
you are a disaster covered in bliss
i stepped back
i knew the things I lack
i can't be too close to you
you may not know
but there is power within you
you don't see what you are
you wanted things but afraid
you might come too far
but you're unconsciously pulling
everything closer
even light can be trapped
in a black hole that you have become
i burned myself for you
i tried to bring you light
but you said darkness comforts you
i burned brightly for you
but you insisted on keeping the night
now i know why you never paid attention
it was not the night you loved
but the little stars she discarded
but she had millions to waste
when all I had was a heart I have always
hated
