"I have learned that I have to accept change for the good or the greater," I said as I smiled, brightly looking out into the world that I faced.

I shut my locker as a few seconds ago, I got my things that I needed for class.
I looked around the hallway to see if I saw anyone I knew. But I didn't.
All I saw was people going to their classes in a hurry. I sighed.
I walked to my class, alone.
I walked in my class, seeing many of the students that I knew but never talked to.
But still there was no one that I actually wanted to speak to.
I just sat down in my normal seat, playing on my phone until the teacher came in and gave the lesson.
As I was on my phone, I got a notification.
One text from Jungkook.
Jungkook
–I will be late.
-I have busy to take care of.
–why are you telling me this?
–bc I thought you might want to know.
–I don't.
- I have to go.
–but you want to text me
unseen
I closed my phone as the teacher walked into the room.
This is going to be a very long day without anyone I know.
I looked over at the window as the class was going on.
I zoned out the teacher's voice. I wasn't really feeling the lesson.
I looked outside as it looked like it was going to storm at any moment. I shook my head.
It has been this way for the longest time. I just wanted sunshine.
I ignored my random thoughts about the sun shine and looked out to see the gray clouds.
Then I heard a loud thud on the window.
My eyes immediately went to the sound, not knowing the other students was just not caring.
I realized there was 10 birds that were hit the window, trying to get in. But died immediately.
I didn't speak out. I didn't know what to think.
There were birds that just died randomly.
I shook the birds off and realized that the teacher was calling my name. "Y/N!"
I raised my head up, seeing the teacher impatiently waiting on a response from me. I looked over at the window and saw there were no birds that were dead. I sighed.

I stood up, getting the teachers attention.
"Please, you don't understand. I don't need detention. I was paying attention to you."
The teacher gave me a death look as she packed up her things.
She shook her head, not giving up. "I do understand. You weren't paying attention to my class and so you get detention."
Nothing was working.
"But-," I said but she cut me off.
"Do you want more days added to that detention," She asked, looking at me firmly challenging me.
I shook my head immediately, not wanting more detention days.
She walked passed me, about to leave the room. But she spoke out. "And don't let your personal life ruin my class."
With that she leaves me in an empty classroom.
I sighed. This day gets better and better.
I walked to the lunchroom, looking down at the ground.
I couldn't believe she gave me detention. I was literally just watching the outdoors.
But I guess she didn't really care for it.
I exhaled in and out, not believing that I had to stay over for class.
My mind went to the birds. There was something that I remembered. Those were the birds that you see in the horror movies. My heart pounded. I couldn't ignore the fact that it was.
But suddenly I was pulled into the girl's bathroom.
I almost screamed but realized that it was Lisa that pulled me into the bathroom.
She already let go of me when I first saw her. She stood there, not speaking.
I had no clue why she wanted to speak to me.
"What do you want?"
Lisa lowered her head, not wanting to speak out.
I walked over to her, shaking her shoulders. "Lisa, what is it?"
She was tense to the touch, not feeling herself like she used to. She looked around the room, making sure that everything was clear to speak out.
I look around, confused of her doing.
But she speaks out, giving me a piece of paper, "Here, take this. I will explain everything to you later, Y/N. Don't speak out this to anyone."
I took the piece of paper out of her hands, putting it in my bag quickly.
"What is it?" I look away for just a second and then don't see her there anymore.
I sighed and I walked out of the bathroom, going to lunch alone.
