After dinner, Aquila had dragged Regulus over to Sirius and James, who were standing and talking in the entrance hall. They were still deciding what to do with Remus and Peter, because both of them were unhappy with them. The next conversation between the four Marauders wasn't going to be pretty.

Aquila looked excited. "We're going to Ravenclaw Tower. Regulus's friend Mabel said that she's going to let us in, I'm gonna go get Draco's broom and then we're gonna go flying-" She talked fast and breathlessly.

"Aquila says that he had the new Nimbus 1200!" Regulus said quickly, "We're allowed to go flying before curfew, right? I didn't see anything in the school rules about it."

"Wait, you're going flying?" asked Sirius, "And- and you just think that-"

"Calm down, Padfoot," James interjected, looking elated, "We're coming with, alright? Don't want you falling off your brooms."

Regulus looked taken aback. "But, but you're the Quidditch captain," he marvelled, "And- and-"

"And you're Sirius's little brother, now let's go," James said, yanking Sirius with him in the general direction of Ravenclaw tower. "We haven't got much time before dark."

Regulus's friend Mabel turned out to be a petite blonde, that sort of simpered all over him. Regulus didn't even seem to pay attention to her advances. He was more enthralled with Aquila, actually, he seemed to marvel at the thought that there was a girl who looked like him and talked like him and acted like him, one who actually bothered getting to know him because they were siblings.

Sirius and James followed behind them, and Sirius was beginning to feel a strong paternal, older-brother kind of feeling, he was just so glad that they didn't hate each other- he'd figured that Regulus would have despised Aquila for breaking their family apart- but maybe if they'd been older when they met, it would have gotten worse.

"The boys' dorm is that way," smiled Mabel, and Regulus thanked her without even flushing- like a true Slytherin.

James and Sirius marched up the stairs first, thinking about how this was a dead boy's dorm and he probably had dorm-mates who didn't know where he was or that he was even dead.

There were three fourth-year boys in the dorm. They seemed to get confused when Sirius and James and Regulus and Aquila entered, but they were more interested in James and Sirius, because they were some of the most popular fifth-years in school.

"Erm, what are you doing here-" One of the boys scowled at Aquila, who didn't bat an eye.

She turned to them, her eyes wide and serious. "We've come to collect my, I mean, our brother's things," Aquila responded, "I'm not sure if anyone's told you, but..."

"Draco passed away in hospital two days ago." Sirius divulged, stepping up, "He was new and you probably didn't know him that well. But, yeah. Sorry."
