11:38 a.m.

We arrive at a subway.

"Um mateo where are we?"

"Just trust me"

He leads me onto a train and we wait there for a while. The train stops a few times and people get off. No one gets on.

More stops, bronx, queens, manhattan, central park. I zone out until I hear it.

Althea Park.

Mateo grabs my hand and drags me off and here I am. Standing in the middle of the park. My place of great change.

I look at Mateo shocked.

"Surprise!" He continues, "This is how the dead watch over people, it's not just the station we arrived at that functions as a gateway."

I start tearing up "How do I find them?"

"Just concentrate on where you want to go and you'll show up there I guess, like teleporting almost."

He grabs my hand, I close my eyes tight and feel a light breeze around me, when I open them I see Pluto, I see Tagoe on the steps.

I run over to hug him but I just walk through him. This fucking sucks.

I walk inside, Mateo follows me in. I look around and nothing's changed. I head up to me, Tagoe, and Malcolm's room and it's changed a little, some of my stuff is in a box, not all of it. Just some.

I walk down stairs and see Jenn Lori sitting at the table, she's crying.

On the table I see a framed photo of me, theres some flowers next to it, too. And a lit candle.

I can't do this. I can't do this. I can't fucking do this. I turn to Mateo who's just standing by the door watching me, giving me space.

"I can't do this." I say, my voice breaking.

He nods and we head out.

"There's someone I want to see, if you don't mind."

"Ok." I say, "Lets go."
