"Papa~!" A 6 year old girl ran and happily danced in front of a Raven haired man

"Look, look~ A friend taught me how to make these" she held out the flower crowns she made. The man just sat on his table reading reports handed to him by Erwin earlier. He frowned at the three crowns his daughter made

"This is for me, and these are for you and mama" she smiled but it soon disappeared as she noticed her father not paying any attention to her.

"(y/n)... You know I don't have anytime to play with you" the man coldly told the girl while he continued reading documents at his desk. The girl slowly walked out of the room.

Hange saw (y/n) sadly holding flower crowns in front of her father's office. She slowly approached the little girl and smiled

"Those are beautiful, aren't they?" She asked

"Yes... but no... not until my father likes them again..." the girl answered.

"I wish mama's here... When will she come home?..." Hange looked at her in surprise and instantly hugged her

"I'm sorry..." she said to the girl

"Why are saying sorry?..." she asked but Hange didn't answer.

~ A few daw later ~

"So, did you give it to him?..." A boy with green eyes asked

"I did but..."

"But?"

"I think he didn't liked it"

"Wha-?!..." Eren scratched his head as he thought that the girl's father would like any gift from her daughter

"Is there anything I could do to make him smile?... Why does he smile only when mama's around" (y/n) pouted

"So he smiles a lot when your mother is around?..."

"Yes..."

"Then it's simple! You should just ask him to visit your mother together in her work, right?..."

"It's not that simple Eren... I already tried but he keeps on telling me to do it next time... Plus, everytime I tell them that I miss mama, they all look so weird..."

"Weird?..." the boy asked and titled his head

"Oh well... I think making your father smile is a matter that a child should not be bothered with... The adults might make him smile again... Why don't we just play with Mikasa and Armin" The boy stood up and held out his hands

"Alright..." The girl grabbed his hand and stood up before they both ran towards the two other kids

Your POV

~ Time skip ~

"Squad Leader (y/n) Ackerman, reporting" I stood straight and gave our salute

"What is it?..." Fathe— Captain Levi asked me monotonously

"A 5 meter titan was captured on our latest expedition for Hange-san's ongoing research about its nature. Our scouts also noticed a hole enough for a 6 meter titan to fit was found on the east side of Wall Rose... We searched the perimeter but no nearby titans were sighted " I reported the abnormalities that we discovered while patrolling

"Tch... Another one huh?..." He muttered

"Yes..." I answered

"Alright, you may go" he coldly commanded
