Demetrius' POV

I grips her hips and pull her quickly into me. "It's never been Courtney," I say with a snarl, "it's always been you."

She's stunned into silence. I take the chance to kiss her yet again. She slowly starts to kiss me back. I gently lift her up before turning to sit on her bed. I softly pull away before Hunter can take control and mate her before she's ready.

She sits on my lap stunned as she catchers her breath. I softly run my fingers along her spine before my hands rest gently on her full hips. She blushes and goes to move away, causing Hunter to growl in pleasure. She stops suddenly and looks around the room like she's looking for someone.

I softly turn her head to me and ask, "What's the matter little one?"

"Nothing," she says blushing harder. "I just thought I heard someone."

"What did they say?" I ask trying to hide my excitement. Her look of confusion tells me I didn't.

"I could have sworn I heard a women's voice say 'Hunter likes that.'"

I try to hide my smile but I know for a fact that I have a shit-eating-grin splitting my face in two.

"What's that smile for?" She asks me.

As I try to school my expression, I tell her, "You need to talk to your mother about that."

She pulls away from me with an agitated look on her face. "What does my mother have to do with this?" She asks as she storms out of the room. I get up to follow her as she goes to find her mother.

"MOTHER?!" She yells as she storms down the stairs. Isabelle walks into the kitchen where her mother is sitting at the table drinking some coffee.

"Yes honey?"

"Mom, why did a hear a women's voice earlier?"

Cathleen slowly sets her coffee down as she nearly chokes. "What did you hear?"

"'Hunter likes that'"

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. That's just your wolf emerging."

"My WHAT?!"

"Your wolf, honey. You are a werewolf demon hybrid."

Isabelle's face goes white before she starts to fall. I rush to catch her before she hits her head.

Cathleen sighs as she stands up. "I guess I should have told her sooner, but I didn't know how to explain it to her. Why don't you bring her back up to her room?" I nod and slowly walk up the stairs as I stare at my beautiful mate in my arms imagining the day that she will finally be able to shift.
