A single misunderstanding can poison all the lovable moments.

It was now the first of the month and Jungkook had turned in the assignement. The two never really mentioned the conversation they had. A certain male not wanting anything to do with Taehyung at the moment. Taehyung was sending him looks. Caught staring multiple times, and Jungkook had no idea why.

He wished they never really did that project. He didn't want to face this. He might just give in. He forgave him, why couldn't he just get over it? He wanted a normal relationship with him. He was just scared of being hurt again.

Taehyung was beating himself up as usual, the bullies not even bothering him at this point. He was more worried about how Jungkook was affecting his little space. The way Jungkook spoke so calm and gentle with him, encouraging him as he spoke. He couldn't help but imagine how perfect Jungkook would be as his daddy. Plus the fact that he knew Jungkook loved him back only made him want that even more.

He felt pathetic, having took so long in apologizing, hating and bad mouthing him all this time and now he wanted them to be more than just lovebirds with great, great distance and a boundary. Taehyung's heart was beating so loud. The same pace he felt everytime he had thought he was scared of Jungkook. The stares Jungkook gave him made him anxious. He couldn't help but wonder if Jungkook also thought about him or fantasized about him.

Taehyung felt he didn't deserve Jungkook's forgiveness. After all the pain he caused the older, he had concluded he wasn't worth how gentle the other was with him. But if Jungkook forgave him he wasn't gonna say 'I don't want it because I don't deserve it'. He's thankful, more than grateful and was going to accept that he did.

Jungkook haven't spoken to him after they finished the project. Taehyung didn't like that. Then he remembered Jungkook had stated clearly that he didn't want anything to do with a relationship. It made Taehyung wonder if that was his fault why Jungkook refused to make friends during highschool. Most likely.

If Taehyung wanted more he would have to slowly gain Jungkook's trust back. And he'd do anything to get that. He had to make up for what he did. So getting up Taehyung walked straight over to Jungkook's table as the other male placed the ipad in his bag. Jungkook who had no idea the male was standing there was startled as he looked up. Taehyung gulped as he noticed the way Jungkook's muscles flex as he pulled his bag on, his arm looking way more built since their fight. "When did he grow I-"

"Huh?"

"n-nothing..um"

Realizing the little amount of space they had Jungkook took a step backward, suddenly feeling quite hot due to the "heat" in the classroom.

"Is it me or is it hot" Taehyung chuckled nervously, pulling his shirt to let some air in. Jungkook only nodded before turning to leave. Running in front of him Taehyung grabbed his hands. And Jungkook couldn't find the courage to pull away. The warmth.. he had missed it in so long, it's been so long. But He couldn't risk it, no not again.

Eventually he pulled his hand away. Slipping it into his pocket as he used the other to place his earphone in his ear, one still left open so he could hear Taehyung. Taehyung's heart made a double bend at that, as if someone was popping his blood vessels one by one. It was then that Taehyung realized the effect the fight had on Jungkook.
