being in the killing game their parents are either dead, or they miss their family and kirumi acting as a mother to them really helps everyone

especially kokichi.

kokichi is an orphan (an au fic abt this would be cute yall get on that😂) and never really had a mother or father in his life. his friends at D.I.C.E were the closest thing he had to a family

so, as kokichi wont admit anything to anyone, kirumi isnt 100% sure, but she has a hunch kokichi sees her as a mom.
