Octopus's Garden

After going holidaying in Hawaii and taking many boat trips while there, you were telling him about how beautiful you found marine life. The thought of life beneath the waves seemed almost too good to be true to you. Having heard that, Ringo immediately wrote down the first sentence of what was going to be a song

You asked him to write a song for you as a joke, thinking he wouldn't take it seriously. You had seen him work on something throughout the week, and got curious as to what it was, but he wouldn't tell you. Then one night, after a recording session when you came to pick him up, he asked you to stay a bit. After all the others had left he sat down behind the grand piano and played you the most beautiful song you'd ever heard

He always called you the sunshine of his life because of your naturally optimistic and smiley personality. you would remind him that everything wasn't as bad as it seems and always tell him it's alright. One beautiful spring day you were sat below a big tree full of pink blossoms. He played the new song for you, explaining how the calmness and good vibes from the song resembled you.

He wrote this for you after you got in a little argument. It was about something small and it was very childish of you both, but it left you restless. The third night of lying awake in bed you decided to call John up and apologise, not expecting him to take it too well. But to your surprise he showed up on your doorstep ten minutes later, guitar in hand. You invited him in and he sat you down to listen to a new song he had written.
