Chapter 6

So Lelouch has a geass? I need to talk to him about it soon when nobody is around. Should I tell him about mine? Or will he figure out I'm Shadow? I mean, he doesnt have to know my exact geass. He can just know I have it. I also haven't seen R3 lately. I wounder where she is.

I got another phone call. But instead of an unknown caller it said the words 'Zero'.

Pressing a botton, I but the phone up to my ear gently as of I was hesitant.

"Hello?" I talked. More in a breath talk way?

"You still sound like you have never gotten a phone call." The voice known as Zero said. I don't know what it was but he sounded familiar.

"Ahahah sorry. Whats up?"

"Everyone is here to celebrate our victory from our misson. Would you like to join us?"

That peeked my intrest. I mean, I do have nothing better to do so I might as well.

"Sure. I'll be there soon." I reply before ending the call.

I was packing everything before I heard my mom call me.

"(F/N)!!!" I don't know how she has such a loud voice.

"WHAT?" I yell back.

I was listening for a reply but nothing came.

"WHAT?" I yell again. Maybe she is losing her hearing omg.

I go walking down the hall to.meet the top of the stairs.

"Mom what do you need?" I sorta yell since I'm closer to her now.

"Come here."

'She could have said that at the beginning. -.-'

Walking down the stairs I see my mom reading a book.

"What do you need?" I ask

"Can you close that window please?" She askes still glued to the book.

"Mom...the window isnt that far away. It would tale you five seconds to close it. Why did you need to call me?"  I didn't know I was raised by a lazy mom. Then again I'm lazy too.

"Because I'm reading." Thats not an excuse mom.

Walking uo to the window alittle annoyed, I close it and go back to my mom.

"Kallen wants me to hang out with her. Maybe a sleepover?"

"Sure, you can go. No boys ok!" She says finally looking up from her book.

"Yes mom, I know."

And with that I finish packing up my phone and such and left.

Walking there, another thing crosses my mind.

'Where is R3?'

It only makes me wounder even more. Was she captured? Did she run away? Maybe she went to find someone else to do her contract. Wait what is her contract with me even??

Before I knew it, I was already at pur seceret bide out. I was about to open the door, when I relize I didn't jave my mask on.

'Oh shit!'

Quickly, I grab my bag and see if its in there. Fortunately, it is. Putting it on, I walk inside and am greeted by the one and only Tamaki.

"HEY SHADOW!!" He greets very loudly and energetically.

"Hi Tamaki." I greet walking past him.

When I greet them. I'm met with the face of Zero.

"Hello Shadow. I'm glad you could make it." He greets.

"Likewise" I reply.

"So formal." A new voice says behind me.

I turn around and see Diethard. He kinda reminds me of a pchyco path.

"Hello Diethard. How are you?" I ask.

"I'm doing fairly well. And you?"

"Doing well as well."

And with that I walked in more and saw a chess board.

"You guys play chess?" I ask

"Why of course. Do you play?" Zero comments walking up behind me.

"I like to think I'm pretty good." I saw looking behind me slightly.

"Shall we put that to the test?" He says, leading me towards the board.

I sit down across from him comming up with a plan.

'What if I do what Lelouch did?'

"Just warning you. I win 98 percent of the time." Zero says again.

"Maybe I'll be one of the 2 percent." I reply with a smirk.

And with that. The game began.

I decided to move my king forward just as Lelouch did.

"I see you have the same plan as I do?" Zero says.

"Is it popular to move the king?" I question.

"No. Not really." He replys.

"Oh. I got it from a friend of mine."

"I see."

And with that, it went quiet again as we judged what move should be made. What piece we should sacrifice. 
The rest of the Black Knights gatherd around watching, clearly not knowing how the game works.

Then it hit me. 'Is Zero using us as pawns?'

This thought clouded my mind as Zero took out my knight.

'He is pretty good at this. But the more I played, the more it reminded me of Lelouch...hmm.'

"Turns out your not that 2 percent huh." Zero says as he takes my king.

"Well...whatever." I say alittle frustrated.

"You did almost have me though. I thought you were going to win." He says.

"I'll take that as a compliment then."

"Where did you learn that strategy?" He asks.

"From a friend."

"A friend of mine did something like that too." Kallen joined in.

"Oh really?"

By the end of the night, I was exhausted. I just wanted to sleep.

Walking home was kinda creepy. Walking down into a street with dimmed lights, I took my mask off and continued walking. The more I walkes, the more I thought.

'Zero knew about the king move. Is he treating us as pons? Oh my god. Is he a sociopath?'

"(F/N)." I hear voice say. I turn to the source to see a familiar red head.

"R3. Hey! Where have you been!?"

"Sorry, I had to see something." She said.

"Like what?"

"I met another person like me."

"What?" I question

"She gave someone a geass named Lelouch." She said walking with me.

"Lelouch?? Thats my friend! I knew he had a geass!"

"You know him?" She asked.

"Ya. He is in my class. I was debating on telling him about my geass."

"I'm not too sure. I have only seen him a few times so I don't know too much. But if you trust him then you can tell him if you want. But if you tell him what your geass does, he can connect it to Shadow easily. So be carefull with it.
