"Manik" Nandini called his name entering his lab, it was a week since he had asked Avni to leave and since then it felt like happiness had walked out with her from their house. Manik use to be home more. She saw him resting his head on the table and sleeping.

"Manik" she called creasing his hairs.

"Haan? Kya? Nandini?" he said walking up

"Manik itna kaam? Appoint an inter..."

"No" he cut her

"No" he shaked his head "Time kya ho raha hai?"

"It's ten in the morning" she said and he got up, and picked her in his arms

"What are you doing out of the bed so early then?" he asked walking out towards their room

"Boss, you are receiving a call from Mr James, Avni's class mentor" th heard Keren as he put Nandini on bed

"Answer the call Keren" he said and waited to hear James's voice

"Hello Mr Malhotra" Manik heard a cheerful voice

"The girl's hostel warden said that you are Aavani's local guardian I just wanted to inform that Aavani has topped this semester results" he said and MaNan had a wide grin

"Are you freaking serious" Nandini exclaimed overjoyed

"Yes Mrs Malhotra, it would be kind of you if you accompany the girl she always misses her family on this day" James said

"Sure...."Nandini said clapping her hands excited and Manik had a loud grin

"We will see you today!" Nandini exclaimed as Manik hung up

"Manik! I am so proud of her" Nandini said

"Please go get her, please get our daughter back we are incomplete without her" she added

"I will, stay here" he said and kissed Nandini's forehead and collected his car keys

"Navya" he calls as Navya appeared in few minutes

"Stay here with Nandini" he said and left. Decending the stairs he saw Cabir, Druv in the living room

"Cabir, Buddy chal" he said as both followed him

They saw him, he looked so happy. He was determine to get her back and this time he will not let anything or anyone snatch her

Manik went near his car when his phone started to ring with an unknown number

Avni saw Mr James talking to Manik and coldly stated that Malhotra's were no one to her and nothing regarding her should be told to them. She withdrew admission knowing Manik can get to know about her wearabouts and collected all her necessary documents and headed to airport with Niharika and Khanna. Khanna had already sent Avni's profile to Shivay who was impressed with her grades. He even asked Avni to apply for a transfer but Avni stood clear and stubborn on her stand of fresh admission in Mumbai for which she was ready to give away all her parents and her savings. Anything to get rid of her past... Anything

She would turn again and again to see if Manik came to stop her but no avail. Deep in her heart when she heard professor James telling Manik about the result she hoped him to come to her getting to know she left but he wasn't there. Avni checked in with boarding pass looking out near the gate and Niharika passed her sad smiles seeing her hope, she could see her friend's heart break little little every minute. Giving a last glance she boarded the plane and held her hands close as the plane took off..... Her new phase of life waited for her in Mumbai...
