Nandini's Birthday (Part 3)

Rishab and Arav turned to see Nandini standing at the door of Avni's room. Her eyes landed on sleeping Avni

"What's wrong with her?" she walked in worried

"Nothing she is just sleeping" Arav ensured her

"Who were you talking about?" Nandini asked sitting besides Avni and creasing her hairs

"One of my colleague said that the way I look at her gives away that I love her" Arav said rolling his eyes only to hear a grasp. When he looked back he could see Nandini and Rishab looking at her

"You just admitted you love her" Nandini said when he was looking at them confused

Arav widen his eyes in realization

"What! No!" he said to defend

"You don't love her?" Rishab asked

"No" he said and then realized what he said

"Manik bhai should know this!" Rishab rubbed is palms excitedly

"NO!" Arav yelled again 

"I...I... didn't...No..I...mean...I" he shuttered bad

"You just said it out for the first time, didn't you?" Nandini asked there was amusement in her eyes 

"Yeah" Arav said scratching the side of his neck looking flustered

"Awww"  Nandini pulled walked to him and pulled his cheeks as Arav blushed

"Who are you awwing on early morning?" Manik entered the room rubbing his eyes and then he saw Nandini's hand pinching Arav's cheeks which looked red

"What the hell!" he yelled

"Enemy! What are you doing in my house early in the morning!" Manik said huffing with annoyance

"Enemy! Seriously Manik!" Nandini said removing her hands from Arav's cheek

"Shush!" Manik said standing in front of Arav

"I was here to drop Avni, and it's nearing noon Mr Malhotra" Arav said looking at his watch

"Oh, don't you try and teach me how to look at the time stupid enemy" Manik huffed

"Keren didn't I asked you to prohibit his entrance in my house under 'Keep Enemy Away From Kiddo Protocol'?" Manik asked

"You did sir but Rishu let him in and Kiddo was unconscious in his arms" Keren told him

Manik looked around to see Avni on the bed

"What did you do to my daughter?" He asked jabbing Arav's collar

"She is sleeping" Arav rolled his eyes getting out of his hold

"Don't roll eyes on me, no respect, I am elder to you, you can't disrespect me, and you......." he went on and on and on until he heard 

"Aahhhggg! What's that noise?" Avni said groggily waking up

"Your Dad Dearest" she heard Arav as Manik stopped talking and scowled at him

"Appa" Avni said still in a sleepy tone

"Haan baby? Kya hua?" Manik asked sitting beside her and the minute he did she hugged him not saying anything. The room suddenly felt silent. Nandini sat besides Manik and creased her hairs as Rishabh and Arav looked curious for her sudden behavior

"Hey Kiddo" Nandini cooed as Manik gestured her that something wasn't wrong

"It was a bad dream" they heard her mummer
