We were currently on our way back to our territory in Mr. Man's plane.
I'm looking out onto the clouds and thinking about what has happened in my life so far.
It's been pretty messed up lately
In the span of three days two of my best friends have found their mates and so have I. Oh we also found out that my mates brother and my envious cousin are conspiring against pretty much all of werewolf kind
Staring out onto the clouds I feel myself dozing off and soon I find myself in dreamland

"Maddie wake up!" I hear an annoying voice say
"Maddison Olivia Willcott if you do not wake up right this instant I will pour water on you!"
"I'm up!" I say jumping up
A little fear that I have is being poured with water while I'm asleep. My grandmother did it to me once in my childhood and it scarred me for life
I was walking to my room when I saw Lexi heading towards me.
When you've been friends with someone for as long as we've been friends, the other person doesn't even need to say anything and already you know something is up
"What's up?" I say
"We're all set to leave. Adam and Asher have to get back immediately so we just have enough time to pack our stuff and say our goodbyes." She says looking sad
"I know baby. Don't worry though I promise I'll keep in touch OK?" I say
"I don't understand why you can't just come with us. I mean I understand that your mate is a Dick and all but maybe you can change him?" She asks. She's always been a hopeless romantic
"That man will not change for anyone and I refuse to go where I am not wanted. I will stay here where people appreciate, love and want me. You and Syd should go though. Be with your mates and be happy. You guys deserve it" I say
"No, you deserve it. After everything that happened with him and with your past you deserve to be happy. You deserve to be with someone who cares about you!" She says
"Like Alpha Valiante said. Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe the Moon Goddess made a mistake pairing us together" I say shrugging
"The Moon Goddess doesn't make mistakes" we hear a voice say and Adam walks in and stands beside Lexi.
They truly are a beautiful pair. The Moon Goddess definitely didn't make a mistake with them
"Yeah Mad and you deserve happiness" Syd says joining the conversation
What is this? Party in my room?
"No Syd. Maybe I'm getting what I deserve after everything that I've done. Maybe He was right and maybe I do deserve everything I'm getting right now" I say sitting on my bed
"No! He was an asshole who I never want to hear about or see again or I'm going to stomp his face in and Alpha Valiante will come around just give him time." Lexi says
"Yeah babe I agree with Lex, Maybe if you join us then things will get better for you guys" Sydney says
"Er... Who's 'He'?" Adam asks
"You guys should head out before it gets dark." I say standing up
"You do realize that your wolf will not be able to stand being apart from your mate right? His won't either. Your wolves won't survive it" Ashton says
