chapter 4: tantrums, phone calls, and ice-cream

Oi if you two are doing having your tantrum, the car is here.” Hayes laughs. I pout, and look at Selena, “Im not getting in that car.” “Stop being such girls!” cam yells. “We are girls, you fool.” selena says in a monotone. Cam just laughs and walks off to the car. “Let us at least call our parents.” Selena suggests and i nod my head in agreement. 

-Selena calls her & Acacias parents, they both say that they met and old friend and are staying at their place for the night-

“Okay, done” Selena says like she just ran a twelve mile race. “Lets go then!” hayes says as he skips to the car door, he opens it and i walk in slowly being cautious of everything. I sit down on the leather seats and run my hand down the fabric. Selena & cameron soon join us in the back. “Where are we going?” I ask, and pull my phone out of my pocket. “Back to the hotel.” Cameron says and looks at Selena for approval, she nods and looks at me. I shrug and look back down at my phone. 

“Hey, whats your name on twitter and stuff, i will add you.” hayes smiles at me. As im about to hand  him the phone, a caller ID comes up, Brittany. I click answer, “ah hello?” I say quietly into the phone. “WHERE ARE YOU!” she screams, i pull the phone away to minimise the amount of sound the going into my ear. “Ah, on our way home?” i look at Selena, she mouths ‘who is it?’ 

‘Its brittany.’ i mouth back. She looks at me with a amused expression. “Well, how could you just leave me here!” Her voice squeals in a high pitch tone. “You left us remember?” i say in a monotone tired of fighting with her. “Whatever, oh and if you see hayes, tell him i had a nice kiss.” my mouth closes shut and i hang up on her. 

“What did she have to say?” Selena laughs. “Nothing” i bite back and go on instagram. “Who's brittany?” cam, and hayes ask at the same time. “A queen bitch who just happens to be a friend.” i huff still remembering that she kissed hayes, or maybe not? She lies all the time to make me angry. “Oh and here add me!” Hayes says and hand me his phone. I go on twitter first and add myself, then on twitter. I hand him back his phone and i smile. “Sweet.” hayes says. I laugh and suddenly we fall into an un-awkward silence. 

We reach the hotel and cam opens the door revealing Nash, and carter “Man, where do you guys go? And who are these beautiful girls?” Nash asks. “They're are our friends Nash, lay off.” hayes says and pulls on my arm to bring me closer to him. Nash puts his hand up in surrender, and walks into the car. “Lets go up to room,” hayes whispers into my ear, “okay.” i whisper back and we being to walk towards the elevator. 

Selena’s POV

“Hey,” cam says and i turn around. “Do you maybe- ugh- want -um to go get some ice-cream?” he stuttered, it was actually really cute. “Yeah, lets go get some now.” i smile. We walk down, and our hands brush against each other multiple times, after a while he grabs my hand. I look down at our hands and smile. I look up and cam is smiling so big, china even could see it. We continue walking down the pathway, towards the nearest ice-cream shop i know. 

“So, tell me about yourself?” cam asks and smiles down at me. “Um, well,” i think for a moment. “Im 19, favourite colour is green, i love to sing, i guess.” i laugh, “what about you?” I can tell he is thinking as he looks into the sky for a moment as we keep walking. “Im 19, fav colour is blue, and i can twerk?” he asks as a question, i think. We both start laughing. 

“This way,” i pull on cams hand towards a little van that is parked here everyday, selling the best ice-creams. “Okay what flavour do you want?” Cam asks. “ahhh…..” i look at the types painted on the side of the van. “Can i have a mint chocolate, with chocolate on top.” i smile and he nods. “Can i please get two mint chocolates with chocolate sauce on top.” The lady smiles and gives us our ice cream as cam pays. We thank her and go sit down on one of the benches near the beach. “Its really beautiful here isn't it.” I lick my ice-cream and look at cam.
