Jaune was what's currently having all of the items yet come with him being checked into the checking office where would be returned to him when he got out

when the officer was finished Jaune was led away to his cell the one he would call home for the next two years maybe less if he was lucky but he doubted that

Jaune(well this is my life no friends no family no ways to take care of myself when I get out of the outside what am I going to do not like daycare they didn't even show up to my trial my family was informed but they told him not to call back so I was stuck with a has-been of a lawyer who convinced you to take a plea bargain well with a way that Jury was swinging a plea bargain was probably the best decision)

When he finally arrived to his cell it was an 8 by 10 foot space with a toilet and sink next to it a bunk bed and a barred window

When he answered the cell he overheard a lot of prisoners talking about him

Prisoner: bad guys in the same cell as Zach

Prisoner 2: he should count himself lucky Zack runs this prison he used to be a former huntsman you know a really good one

Jaune could only go not only was he was sharing a cell with the guy who practically ran the prison but it was also a former huntsman

Jaune(can this get any worse)

Moments later guards brought over a large man who stand over them with a bald head and extremely long beard it was Zach the guy who ran the prison

Jaune(apparently it can get worse)

Jaune just watched as they uncuffed him and close the cell door

Standing face-to-face Zach was easily 3 ft taller than Jaune

Jaune was sweating nervously

Zach: you can come down kid I ain't going to bite you in fact I arranged myself to be in the same cell as you

Jaune: for what reason exactly

Zach: I've been in this prison long enough to know just by the look in someone's eyes that they got screwed by the system so what happened

Jaune: nanana nothing

Zach: that's not an answer kid how did you end up here you clearly don't belong here

Jaune: if I'm going to tell you my story I warn you it's a long one

Zach: kid we're in prison time is the one thing we've all got

10 minutes later

Zach: so let me get this straight you faked your way into beacon academy to become a huntsman because your parents wouldn't let you you save some scumbags life go instead of paying you ruined your life your friends turn their backs on you you're kicked out of beacon disowned and you end up being the Fall Guy for a crime you didn't commit man you are not the luckiest kid

Jaune: I know and ironically of all my former friends Ruby was the nicest she just ignored me although I suspect it was her sisters doing

Zach: if I had a sister like that I'd be scared too she probably ignored you to protect you if she was caught talking to you or sister would have probably beat you some more

Jaune: I can only hope

Zach: little kid you're not going to survive in this prison long if you're not strong that's the number one rule in prison the strong command the week follow you want to survive stick with me I'll turn you in a fighter and I'll help you get out of here

Jaune: why would you help me I'm a nobody you're the guy who runs this place

Zach: I have my reasons I'll tell you them when I help get you out of here but first we got to make sure you're in Tip-Top condition and just a few months I'm going to turn you into a fighter you ready kid

Jaune looks at Zach with eyes of admiration for the first time in his life there was someone who believed in him besides Ruby and Pyrrha is safe and Ruby was strong as it was the only thing that kept him going for the long process he no longer considered the others as friends so extending his hand to shake Zach's large hand
