Lisa's PoV

"Good morning, mi amore," I greeted Jennie when she entered the school's premises

"What are you doing here, Manoban?" She asked

"Good morning to you too, Lisa!" I said as if I'm greeting myself and she just shook her head

"Aren't you supposed to be training for the game later today?" Jennie asked

"I should but it's too boring if I'll let myself be consumed by that, right? I need a break," I told her

We're walking to her class. There were a lot of people who were looking at us and judging but I couldn't care less. I know my truth.

"Did you skip your training?" She suspected

"Ah, yeah," I nonchalantly replied and she smacked my nape

"Listen here, Kim," I grabbed her on her wrist and she faced me. I mocked her height by stooping.

"We're not yet in a relationship so stop hurting me!" I told her and she just smiled

It feels like my day has been completed. I made my girl smile! Finally! Jennie smiled and she put her hand on my cheek. It feels so warm. I like this fee--

"Jennie Kim!" I complained when I felt a sting on my cheek. She fucking slapped me!

"I will hurt you whenever I want, Manoban," She said and she continued walking

I caught up to her and I tucked her on my arm.

"Oh. Violent, I like it," I teased her and she just laughed

"Alright, we're here," She said and we stopped in front of her room

"You know you don't have to do this, right? I'm not even sure if I can return the same affection you're giving me," Jennie stated with a sad smile

"We've been through this a lot of times, Kitten. I'm doing this because I want to, alright? And not because I'm expecting you to like me back," I replied and she nodded

"I forgot to give you something," I said and I reached something on my back

"What? You're not--" But I cut her off by showing a finger heart from my back

Jennie just kept a straight face. She held the finger heart and she threw it somewhere. I acted as if I was hurt and she just laughed.

"I'll see you later, yeah?" I told her and she nodded before going in her class

It doesn't matter how long I show my love for you, Jennie. I just want you to feel loved, to feel my love because I swear, I have never felt this affection before.

"Manoban! Where have you been this time?" Our coach asked when I entered the gym

"Hi, coach!" I greeted with a smile

"I--"

"I asked her to grab our water bottles, coach!" Our captain, Seulgi, just saved my ass

Our coach just nodded and I jogged towards Seulgi. She gave me a smack on my nape immediately.

"Don't skip training when it's almost game time!" She sermoned

We are trying to put our time to good use. We have been training hard to secure a spot in the semifinals. This game will be the decision-maker.

"Come on! A ten-minute game then we can have a rest before the game," Our coach said

"Yellow team against the black team! Come on!" Seulgi said
