As expected, when they arrived at the gates of Gerudo Town and the guards saw Link and Ganondorf, they narrowed their eyes.

"I thought you were aware of the rules, Princess," one said.

Ganondorf scoffed. "I'm literally a Gerudo. What's up with the hostility?"

"No. Voe. Allowed."

"We're just here to speak to Riju, the chief of the Gerudos. We don't need to come in if you could get her for us," Zelda explained.

The guards eyed them, still suspicious, until Link said something.

"Just tell her Link's at the gate. She'll come," he said.

Zelda raised a brow. Why would knowing Link was there make Riju want to come out? Wasn't knowing the Princess Of Hyrule was there enough?

The guards seemed suspicious too, but one of them went in to go and summon the Gerudo.

A loud squeal was heard not too soon after.

"Link!" A short girl flung her hands around Link's shoulders, giving him a big smile.

Zelda didn't know that there were others that hugged Link like that. Something bubbled at the pit of her stomach, but she shoved the feeling down.

"Hello again, Riju. This is Zelda, the Princess of Hyrule and this...this is..."

Riju looked Ganondorf up and down, smiling. "Probably the most handsome man I've seen in my life."

Ganondorf grinned. "Thank you."

"But...you look like a Gerudo. That's impossible. We haven't had voe around for at least a century." Riju turned to Zelda, tilting her head slightly. "What brings you to Gerudo Town, Princess?"

Zelda cleared her throat, gesturing to Ganondorf. "He's the reason we're here. It would be best if we talked somewhere...away from the guards."

Riju raised her brows. "Secrets? I like that. Okay, come in then."

Zelda, Link, and Ganondorf followed Riju into the town. The sun beat down on their backs, and Zelda could feel her face heating up. All the Gerudos turned to stare at Ganondorf, practically drooling.

"Remind me why we don't let voe in again?" one whispered.

"I know. Especially when they look like that."

Ganondorf chuckled, the compliments obviously going to his head. "It seems like I'm quite popular around here."

"Don't get too ahead of yourself," Link said. "They just don't see voe often so when they do it's a refreshing experience."

Ganondorf wiped a fake tear from his eye. "That's the second time you've spoken to me in twenty four hours. I truly feel like we're starting to become friends now."

Zelda knew that was the wrong thing for Ganondorf to say since it made Link even more tense. He turned away from the Gerudo, focusing on the path ahead of them. They continued to follow Riju until she led them into a small room beside a store.

"You may leave us," she said to her guards. She then turned to the rest of them. "Now, what is it you wanted to tell me?"

"Riju...this is Ganondorf. He's the other half of Calamity Ganon," Zelda explained, and Riju's jaw dropped. "Calamity Ganon managed to awaken and Ganondorf was able to separate himself from the Calamity before it took over again."

Riju remained speechless for a moment. "Are you saying Calamity Ganon is awake?" Zelda nodded. "Oh, Hylia. And what is he going to do?" Riju gestured to Ganondorf. "Stop it? Why does he need to be here?"
