Low key Lovin

Kodie POV

Skye sat in front of me as we spooned and watched TV at her place. I laughed as Dwight interrupted Micheal. She shook her head. "I love this show" I said. "Me too" she smiled up at me. I pecked her nose. This is out 4th official date and we decided to have a stay in date this time. She's everything in a woman I could ask for. She's cooking dinner tonight  and we're finna sleep in the same bed for the first time. I've been practicing my cuddle positions for tonight. She knows how my diet is so she brings me a little care package before games. It consists of a dinner fit to my diet. A new piece of gear rather it be a sleeve or new gloves and once she even got me a new mouth guard then some hi chews plus my favorite Gatorade and a nice little homemade note. I keep the notes in a jar. I can honestly say that I'm falling in live with her. "Baby I'm gonna start fixing dinner now. If you want my Dad has a gym outside on the back" she said. "Oh thanks" I  said. I put on my Nike shirt with my basketball shorts and some training shoes before going out there.

Skye POV

After putting the food in the oven I went to check on Kodie. She was doing pull ups. She was sweaty like last time. Her muscles bulged as she lifted all her weight. She's so sexy I can't believe she's really into me . I'm the unnoticed preachers daughter. It's a good thing my parents are on a little retreat with the church. My dad doesn't even know about Kodie. He would kick me out if he knew. I went to go check on the food and it was done. I called Kodie in before making our plates. She went upstairs and took a quick shower before coming back down.  she sat at the table with me. "Thank you" she said as I sat her plate down. "Your welcome" I said sitting down. We said grace before eating. "How's foot ball going" I asked. She nodded. "Great coach says I got some NFL reps in the crowd so that'd excellent and I got a girl cheering me on in the crowd too so I can't complain" she said. I blushed shaking my head. "I'm glad to hear about the reps you'll get drafted in no time" I said. "Yeah" she chuckled finishing up. "I really enjoyed this" she said washing dishes . "Thank you baby" I kissed her cheek. Just then the door to the house opened. "Skye honey are you here" My mom said. "bash it they weren't supposed to be home til tomorrow" I mumbled. Kodie chuckled. "Yeah mom I'm in the kitchen and I have a guest" I said. "What guest" my Dad asked ad they walked in. "Hi Mrs. and Mr. Morales I'm Kodie" she said holding out her hand to my dad. He shook it and she kissed my mom's cheek. "This must be your new friend" My dad said. "Yeah I'm her girlfr-" " Home girl were home girls" I cut Kodie off. She frowned a little but kept quiet. "I just made dinner for Kodie if you want any there's some left over. I doubt you'd want it since it's low and salt and all these special things since Kodie has a diet for her serious athletics" I said. "Oh really what sport do you play Kodie" My dad smiled. "Football Sir" she said. His face automatically scrunched up. "You're a girl though" he said. "Sweetie why don't we go upstairs and unpack" my mom pulled him away up the steps. Once they were in their room I turned to Kodie. "Sorry about him he's a preacher" I said. "Oh I didn't know" she scratched her head. "So like we have to keep our relationship low key" she asked. I nodded. She nodded. "Should I leave" she asked. "No we can still have a sleepover" I said with a wink. She laughed and we went upstairs . I took my shower and got my pj's on before climbing in the bed with Kodie. She was distant from me.  "Kodie cuddle me" I pouted. "Oh okay" she said. "Stop acting awkward Ko. He's not gonna do anything to you" I smiled as she wrapped her arms around my torso bringing me into her. "I know it's just. It seems like he's homophobic" she said. "He is that's why we have to keep it on the low" I sighed. "Or I'll bet kicked out" I said. "He'd kick you out" she gasped. "Yeah that's what he told me when I asked him about liking the same gender. My mom is better . She knows about you and she likes you" I said. "That's good" she said. "Goodnight Ko" I said looking up at her. "Goodnight baby" she said before I leaned up and kissed her. She smiled before I buried my head in her chest and fell asleep

Next Day

"She plays football" My dad asked . "Yes Dad and she's really good at it too. She already has the NFL looking at her" I said. "I don't like the way you were sleeping up under her" he said. I rolled my eyes. "I think she's one of those lesbians. What do you calm the really masculine ones Dikes. Yeah I think she's one" he said. "Bye dad I'm gone to pick up my friend for church" I said leaving out. I walked to my car and drove to Kodie's house. She walked put the door looking like a meal in her suit and tie. "Is this churchy enough" she asked. "Oh my goodness you look so sexy baby" I said pulling her into me giving her a kiss. "Thank you you look beautiful babe" she smiled. We got in the car. "When's the last time you went to church" I asked. "Years"
