I have always found friends to be somewhat a waste of time. I have one or two close friends, but not anywhere as close as those I am often encountered by. Why do we need friends? Psychology suggests that not have friends is as deadly as tobacco. Loneliness is very healthy, but our minds can scare us. Try this: go in your room, close the door, and shut off the lights. Close your eyes and just think. Don't take anything to heart, just let your mind roam. Are you scared? No. You're not scared, but you feel scared. That's due to the everlasting fear of just being by ourselves. We don't need to have millions of friends, but why not make 1 or 2 to form close bonds with. Try it. Write down how it goes and how you felt as you gradually gained a strong bond. Friends can break you or make you. It's up to you to decide. Ever since the dawn of time, we've always had someone by our side. Have incredible adventures with your friends because you're mind will open. You'll gain a new perspective.
