The third month of pregnancy began. She had gotten the chance to tell Pru,Abigail and Maricela ; all three were excited,so much that Maricela burst out weeping in joy. "I'm gonna be an aunt!" She said, sobbing before Abigail handed her a handkerchief in wich she ungracefully snorted in. Then it was Lucky's family's turn ; Jim had spit his coffe out from surprise,Kate had squealed so loudly that now twelve year old Polly had heard her from upstairs. They had all hugged both Lucky and Javier so thight both of them were breathless, and Jim had pattet the soon-to-be-father on the back "you better raise this child right!" He had said jokingly. Javier had smiled "i will,Mr. Prescott." He said "we'll raise this child right."
Then they had visited aunt Cora, who lost her cool completely when her niece said the words "aunt Cora,i'm with child!" Lucky had chosen her words carefully,in a sophisticated manner. Much to her aunt's delight. Cora's eyes filled with tears and she hugged her niece,Kissing her cheeks and her stomach in a confused combo, asking disconnetted questions in excitement "when are you due?" She asked. Lucky giggled "aunt Cora,we only found out a few days ago!" She said "it's supposed to be in april, but we don't know the day." Cora nodded "ooh, april! April is such a wonderful time to be born!"

Spirit and Lucky couldn't see each other that much, but he visited on regular basis, and spent some time togheter . Since her belly couldn't obstaculate her that much for now,she even allowed herself small strolls on Spirit's back.
But the struggle begin as she began to show more ; normally, you shouldn't start to show until five months...But she surely was starting to show. By the third week of the month, she definitely had a neat visible bump and small cramps were given by the baby that was growing inside. Her back sure was sensitive and ached too,but she just couldn't stay still all day,so she voluteered to participate to Althea and Aunt Cora's meetings. It was boring, but sure was keeping her from getting bored all day. Mainly because the ladies of Miradero kept asking the same questions about her ; when she would be due,if It was a boy or a girl, how many months she was...blah blah blah, but she answered politely to all of those, saying it was fine.
But at one point she would say "beg your pardon, ladies, but i really must go home. My husband's waiting for me,and i promised i would be back soon." She kissed her aunt's cheeks and then went out swiftly - as swiftly as having an unborn human growing in your mid-section could allow to - .
Once she was out,She leaned her back against the door "oh,thank goodness" She muttered, stroking her belly softly "once you're born dealing with your great-aunt is gonna be your business, lil' one." She giggled "someone's hungry,hm? Let's get home and prepare something." And as she said that,She came to the realization of what pregnancy cravings were...
Lucky had never been fond of spicy things, but suddently she had found herself loving her husband's mexican spices that she put on a croissant. When Javier tasted it he said "gosh, babe! That's too spicy even for me!" Lucky just shrugged and pointed at her belly "it's the baby's fault,y'know? It likes spicy." Javier giggled "well,it's no mistery it does! Latino parents and grandmother...this baby is gonna love spices"
Lucky smiled softly "y'know, i still can't believe there's a baby growing in here..." But as soon as she finished the sentence, her eyes widened "Javi,it's moving." She said. Javier put his hands onto her stomach and a little roll pushed back against bis palm,he let out a small chuckle of disbelief "there you are...." He said "now we've got something we can tell grandma." Lucky chuckled, but instead of moving the baby kicked "Ow! That was a strong one for such a tiny one..." She said surprised. But it was no wonder, really ; It was because of that spicy things that their child was hyperactive like that. Javier chuckled "okay lil' guy, that's enough spices for you for today." Another kick answered and Javier forced a stern face "Hey,Watch your tone!" Lucky giggled, but was starting to feel sick with all that movement "I wouldn't be surprised if this baby tried to kick his way out." Javier sat by her "have you slept tonight?" He asked. She shrugged, leaning back against the chair "not really. I've got 14 minutes of sleep, but that's all." She said softly, then changing the subject "should we start thinking about some names?" She asked "have you tought of any?" Javier shrugged his broad shoulders "hmmm...i like Alvaro for a boy...have you got any for a girl?" Lucky tought for a moment "maybe Milagro, like my mom...or Lane..."
Javier smiled, interwiening his fingers "so if it's a girl,i suggest Lane Milagro Prescott Bienvenidos." Lucky giggled "we're keeping the tradition of long names,hm?" She said, but that name actually fit pretty well. "And if it's a boy,Alvaro Prescott Bienvenidos"
Javier smiled lovingly at her, bending down once more "you hear that, baby? We've got it all figured out for you."
Lucky giggled,rolling her eyes softly.
That until a wave a nausea hit her. She put a hand onto her mouth, got up and rushed to the bathroom.
Javier cringed a bit at the door slamming and the coughing sounds that came from it...he only had to wait.
