Last night after Stella and I went back to our place, she would not stop taking.
" so, is jonah 10x hotter in person or what?"
" Stel, he has a girlfriend. And if anything we're just friends and so will you."
" what about the rest of them, I personally thought that Daniel guy way hot."
" Good for you. It's late and I'm going to bed. The concerts tomorrow so I want to get sleep. Night." I say walking to my room
" night hay."
The Next Day
Jonah: Hey Hay
Hayden: Really?
Jonah: I thought it was funny
Jonah: anyway, our soundcheck begins at 3pm and I was wondering if you and stella wanted to come to the beach with the guys and I?
Hayden: of course! Stella's at the gym right now so I think we can make it there by noon if that's good.
Jonah: perfect. See you then Hay
Hayden: 👋🏻
Since it's just me I decide maybe I should begin getting stuff and myself ready to go. I get in the shower and when I'm done throw on a black bikini and a cream sun dress over top. Since my hair never wants to be functional when its wet, I let it air dry and continue getting beach ready. I grab my backpack and throw in hair ties, my towel, sunscreen, and my waterproof phone case thing. Then I go downstairs and grab the small cooler bag. Filling it up with food and my water bottle once I fill it up.. Sunglasses. Those are important. I search frantically around the house trying to find them but I'm pretty sure they might be in Stella's car which she is currently using. Well then. Just then I hear a car pull in the driveway. Perfect timing.
" Hey. I brought you food." Stella says walking in the door
" thanks. Were going to the beach with jonah and the guys in about an hour so you should probably start getting ready."
" ok cool, are we bringing the surfboards too?" She asks
" yes! I knew I was forgetting something!" I yell
" perfect." She laughs " well I'm going to get ready than."
At The Beach
Stella and I pull up to the beach and see that the guys are just arriving too.
We grab our stuff and make are way over.
" I didnt know surfboards could walk? Man Hawaii is crazy!" Jonah says
That's right because Stella and I are short, when we carry the surfboards you can't see us from the front.
" ha ha very funny Jo."
I set my board down for a second and then all seven of us walk down to the beach. I set up all of our stuff with the help of stella and look over to see the guys still sitting up next to us. I take this as an opportunity to lay down on the towel and tan. But not even 5 minutes later I've been picked up over jonah's shoulder.
" I swear jonah if you throw me in the water I will kill you."
" well I guess it's to late now." He says dropping me into the water.
" JONAH!" I yell standing up
He's to busy laughing so I take my chance and tackle him, knocking him over into the water but bringing me with him.
" that was quite rude." he says
" whoopsie." I shrug
" I would love to live out here."
" Its pretty cool huh." I respond
" so what's it like here?"
" Its not all sunshine and rainbows. For me, I work four days a week so it's not like I'm always at the beach. But theres always something to do they always seem to have festivals going on." I respond
" that's dope. You said you work, what do you do?" He asks us now sitting in the water
" I'm a surf instructor. So I mostly teach young kids how to surf but occasionally there will be some 50 year old guy who wants to learn. Spoiler, it doesn't usually end well."
" Oh man."
" awe. Look at my little love birds just chillin!" Stella yells, splashing us
" Really." I said rolling my eyes " were just friends."
" yeah, just friends." Jonah said
Did he seem disappointed that I said that. No I'm just going crazy. Do I like jonah. No, I cant he has a girlfriend and loves her. Right?
