"JONAH! HURRY UP WERE GONNA BE LATE!" I yell through the Frantzich house
"Im ready, I'm ready." Jonah says flying down the stairs
were on our way to my childhood home to tell my mom and sister, Addalyn. I'm not as nervous about telling them but i can tell jonah's been stressed all morning.
"I can tell your nervous." i say laughing
"you can? shit." jonah says making me laugh even harder "hey, eyes on the road young lady."
Im laughing so hard that I had to having to pull over and breath for a second so we didn't crash.
"you can't do that to me while I'm driving." i say smiling still
"I'm sorry that I'm just super hilarious." he smirks
"it wasn't even that funny. it's just the tone of voice you used made me almost pee my pants."
I pull back on the road and make a few more turns before we end up at the nearest grocery store that has everything from toys to food to pet goldfish.
we've decided that we're going to tell them were having a baby by getting them a few gifts that will all add up to the conclusion and we'll see who gets it first.
"so for my mom I'm thinking we start her off with an advacado or two. since she loves making guacamole and it just happens to be the same size as the baby is right now." i say as jonah follows me to the food section
"you have this all planned out don't you?" he asks
"Jo, I've had this planned put since i was like 12." i laugh "now for ads I want to get her something that represents like the cool fun aunt but the only thing i can think of is the wine aunt. which would be good if she wasn't 17."
"what if we got her the sparkling grape juice stuff that we all had on new years as kids. you'd still get the point across." he says
"yes! let's do that!"

a few items and gift bags later we arrive at the small brown house on the corner.
"we're here!" i say opening the front door
milo, the small dog that's been around since I was six years old comes running up to us wagging her tail.
"hi bubs. i missed you." i say crouching down and petting her
"HAYDEN!" ads says running to give me a hug
"I MISSED YOU!!!" I yell back falling into her arms
"we're all right here, no need to yell." jonah smiles
"JONAH!" ads yells, once again giving him a hug
jonah shrugs and then yells "ADDALYN!" before giving her a hug
"do I hear who i think i hear?" my mom says almost skipping into the entry way. the sort of thing that all moms do when their kids come home
"tah dah!" i say holding my hands in the air
"and we brought presents!" jonah says holding up the bags
"you guys didn't have to do that!" mom says hugging us both "but we should go open them."
laughing, everyone heads into the dinning room, mom and ads seated next to each other.
"so there is one big gift, but in order to get to it you have to open a few smaller gifts. they will eventually add up an you'll be able to guess your gift." i say
"so it's a competition?" ads asks
"i guess." jonah says
He hasn't said much making it known to me at least that he is nervous.
"so mom here's your first one and ads here's yours." i set them down
"advacados! did you get me a guacamole making machine!" she says excitedly
"unfortunately that's not it." I say
"why would we need a guacamole making machine if I got a bottle of sparkling grape juice?" Addalyn asks
"it's the fancy kind?" mom shrugs
"if it was fancy they would have gotten me actual wine." she says "why didn't you get me actual wine?"
"ADDALYN! you're only 17!" mom says slightly hitting her
"and?" she laughs

"I don't understand this game." mom says " I have some advacados, a baby blanket, and a piece of paper that says coming April 15th 2021. what in the hell does that mean?"
we all laugh and then a huge gasp escapes ads mouth.
"NO!" she yells covering her mouth
"are you okay?" my mom asks
going completely ignored she addalyn asks "are you?" looking at me, jonah, and then back at me
"yup." i say smiling
"OH MY GOD!!! CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!" she says running giving me and jonah a hug
"Amy's still a little bit confused." jonah says laughing
"mom I'm pregnant." i finally say laughing
she goes blank for a few seconds and then errupts
"WHAT!?! NO! I'M GONNA BE A GRANDMA!!" she says jumping up and and down "THIS IS SO EXCITING!!"
mom runs over grabbing both me and jo and pulling us into the tightest hug ever
"good job jonah." she says patting him on the back
"Mom!" i say my jaw dropped
"thanks amy." jonah laughs
"you are very welcome." she says

and just like that jonah had to go back with the boys for tour, jonah wanting to keep my pregnancy a secret from them for a little bit longer. one more month and they're done. one more month and we'll be able to know the gender of the little baby.
