Fortunately enough, it was the end of the conference.

"If you will please excuse me, gentlemen..."

He didn't need to bow his way out, as the leader of the meeting.

But he was startled by the message.

Excusing himself from the room gave him some sort of composure.

He didn't get it from the first glance.

Why was the art student texting him in the middle of the day?

From the few words he could take a glimpse of, Kim Tae Hyung seemed really pissed off.

What was all of this about?

And what was in this picture?

He couldn't quite see immediately what that cream rectangle was.

But he had a bad feeling about this.

The young Mr. Kim hardly ever texted him.

Once he was back in his office, he closed the door and before he was even seated, he opened the message again.

Bold letters made it clear that the text was totally far from calm or friendly.

What was all the matter?

"WHEN THE FUCK WILL YOU HAVE THE DECENCY TO STOP TOYING WITH HIS FEELINGS AND HIS LIFE? STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!!"

A closer look at the picture had his legs give out on him.

Had it not been for the couch behind him, he'd now be sprawled on the floor.

Face as pale as a ghost, his trembling fingers enlarged the photo.

And there could be no denying what he saw.

He recognized it all too well now.

From the furniture he could see in the background and the rug on which the card lay, the picture had obviously been taken at their place.

The neat, pretty writing on the envelope that lay near clearly mentioned Jimin's name as the only addressee of the paper-mail.

How cruel...

And there it was...

Next to it...

Tear-stained and smeared with tiny drops of blood...

The card...

His mind was overwhelmed by feelings that whirled and swirled his thoughts, making him feel dizzy.

All so strong that he felt like he was going to choke from the stifling force they held his chest with.

Fear.
