I Want To Reach You

3rd Person POV

It's been a few since Chanyeol and Kyungsoo have been at the cabin. During those few days Chanyeol has been clinging onto Kyungsoo like a lost puppy. Everywhere Kyungsoo goes, Chanyeol wants to be there.

For Kyungsoo it is being just a bit tedious to deal with. If Chanyeol keeps this up then Kyungsoo doesn't have the time to plan for the big surprise. Kyungsoo is nervous if his surprise might be too soon.
 
   They've been dating for awhile but Kyungsoo has been wondering a lot of 'What if's' lately. Kyungsoo doesn't usually like to ponder about the future. Not that the future scares Kyungsoo but something does bother him a little.

While Kyungsoo is lost in this thoughts Chanyeol just stares at him. Chanyeol thinks to himself 'If I had to choose this life again I would. Kyungsoo looks too adorable lost in his thoughts. I wonder what is he thinking of? Is he thinking of me? Or maybe even us? I hope one day to change his last name'

Kyungsoo feels love arrows being shot at him from the corner of his eyes and immediately shifts his attention to where it's coming from. To no surprise Chanyeol is staring at him. Kyungsoo reaches over and flicks Chanyeol on the forehead. Chanyeol winces and complains like a baby.

"Kyungie that really hurt you know? You're stronger than you look" Chanyeol whined. Calmly Kyungsoo looked at Chanyeol and said "Ya I know" with a big grin on his face. Kyungsoo then smugly looked at Chanyeol and gave him a quick kiss.

Chanyeol was shocked by the sudden gesture but still enjoyed it. Kyungsoo got up to go the restroom and Chanyeol quickly followed. Before Chanyeol could enter the restroom with Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo quickly shut the door in chanyeol's face. Chanyeol's smile dropped and pouted instead.

Chanyeol and Kyungsoo had another nice day too day as well. They went for nature walks and enjoyed playing around in the water. Chanyeol and Kyungsoo reminisced about all they time they have been spending together. Kyungsoo got out of the restroom and got ready for bed.

This time Chanyeol entered the restroom and invited Kyungsoo to join and keep him company. Clearly Kyungsoo strongly denied. Once again Chanyeol pouted.

After Chanyeol was done he joined Kyungsoo on the bed and quickly fell asleep. Kyungsoo on the other hand had trouble sleeping. There was too much on his mind. Lately he's been thinking about him and Chanyeol.

He's been wondering if maybe one day they could be more than just boyfriends. He was planning to do something for Chanyeol but decided it was too early and maybe they should wait. One thing is for sure however, Kyungsoo wants to be the one to do this certain gesture. He is just too unsure of when or how to do it.

He's had a few scenarios run through his head but something always seems a little off. Although Kyungsoo wouldn't voice this out loud but sometimes he wonders if feeling small doubt is wrong. Kyungsoo spends the whole night wondering about things and sometimes he doesn't like the answers he gives himself.

Despite already having Chanyeol he can help but doubt himself a little. Sometimes he wonders if his life is too good to be true. 'Hello lonely sky. Are your tears as stained as mine? Are you doubting all the time? Are you sad most of the time? Are you tried of the clouds fogging up your mind? Are you scarred some when lighting resides? Are you clear from time to time'

Kyungsoo sings while staring off into empty space. Is it possible to feeling nothing at all even though you know you are loved. it's just an empty feeling that follows on and on.' Kyungsoo didn't like where he was going so he just closed his fist and cuddled into
Chanyeol's arms.

Unconsciously Chanyeol wrapped his arms around Kyungsoo and pulled him closer. Maybe Kyungsoo didn't dislike the puppy like Chanyeol. Inside he truly does enjoy when Chanyeol gives him all of his attention.

When morning came Kyungsoo got up and prepared breakfast for him and Chanyeol. A little late Chanyeol woke up and quickly went to the dinning table. During their breakfast Chanyeol and Kyungsoo talked a lot.

For the most part Kyungsoo felt some soft of relief in both his body and mind. Chanyeol once again stuck to Kyungsoo like a puppy. He followed him everywhere and gave him puppy dogs eyes. Today however Kyungsoo didn't try to hide the fact that he enjoyed it.

Instead Kyungsoo embraced it and even too more initiation to show Chanyeol his feelings. He even held Chanyeol's hand longer and gave him more compliments. He also ruffled Chanyeol's hair a lot.

Chanyeol was left a little more than flustered. He however enjoyed it beyond imagination. He was so relived to see Kyungsoo giving him just as much love him as he does to Kyungsoo. His felt his heartstrings flutter and was extremely touched at the effort his boyfriend was giving.

Chanyeol already knew without Kyungsoo having to do anything, to how Kyungsoo feels. The majority of the time they kept stealing glances at each other, smiling, and laughing.

To make their day even better. They chose a nice spot around the cabin to look at the stars. The most special about this moment was Kyungsoo sang a song dedicated to Chanyeol.

'Within a small line that holds the upmost hope.
Was my wishing and thoughts that I assumed  would  wither and smother without a second hope.
You took this small line and made it shine.
You added more strength and kept it safe all the time.
You unlocked its secrets and accepted its faults.
You smiled and wholeheartedly accepted it all.
You made such small hope expand to much more.
You made me not hide the feelings I tried to keep behind doors.
You brought beauty and enjoy to a place that was dark, and had a bitterness taste.
But not anymore....,,.'

Kyungsoo suddenly felt embarrassed about singing such song out loud. He still wasn't every used to singing to Chanyeol. He feels like every time he signings Chanyeol stares at him as if he's some angel singing down from the skies.

Chanyeol the whole time just stared at Kyungsoo in awe. Not once did chanyeol's eyes falter at all. The entire time he was just so focus on Kyungsoo's face and beautiful voice. He had no idea much he actually truly meant to Kyungsoo. Sadly for Chanyeol they would soon have to return home.

If it was up to Chanyeol he would just stay forever in the cabin with Kyungsoo. He wouldn't mine living are from everyone and keeping Kyungsoo all to himself. He knows it's selfish of him to think that way but he just can't help it at all.
