I once met a boy
He was young and free
He had an angelic voice
And became a star at 16

The flashes and fame
Never changed who he was
In the famous game
He found true love

His love was sweet
His perfect choice
But, sweet went sour
His love was a boy

So, they chained up his lover
And demanded a change
He would pretend he loved her
He would play the game

Longs days passed by
The green eyed boy
Cried and cried
By the pain in his story

He didn’t sign up for this
He didn’t want to suffer
All he wanted was to kiss
His blue eyed lover

You see this story
Is one I know well
For I am the boy
And this is my story to tell

I’ll suffer and cry
Because that’s how the game goes
For I know I’m his life
And he won’t let me go
