bakugo's eyes widened as he clenched his jaw in anger. "never changed? how do you know my name??!"

no one saw how the villain smirked, and he suddenly snapped his fingers. "nomu."

"nomu?" all might questioned. but i defeated him a while agoㅡ

and in a flash, a big loud noise erupted in between the fight.

"n-no... how can it be?" all might's eyes widened in pure shock, as he saw the villain he had just sent flying out of the world return back being fine, with just the hooded villain calling him.

"izumi." shigaraki called out. "why is it not happening?"

"we're almost there," izumi assured. "we just need to wait a little longer."

what was supposed to happen?! the heroes thought and freaked out. todoroki stood low and started collecting his power in his hand. "i don't know what's supposed to happen, but we'll stop it right now before it happens!" in a fast speed, he ran to midoriya and screamed as he gathered his powers.

he aimed and pushed his hand in front of him, emitting out his powers to attack the villain. but to his dismay, his enemy's speed is faster than his. it was like he teleported out of his place, when in truth, he only dodged the attack at an enormous speed.

"nomu." shigaraki spoke and the nomu started attacking, not all might, but todoroki. the boy knew he was the target, but the fear that was residing in his heart paralyzed him. he was unable to move. he was ready to accept the impact of the attack when he was suddenly pushed sidewards and everything happened in a flash. all might was the one who accepted the impact and it sent him backwards, hitting the wall behind him.

"all might!" bakugo shouted while todoroki stayed glued to the ground, staring at the buff man. the smoke cleared up from the impact of the attack and showed his face that was painted in pain. he was trying to move his head and then called out to the two students. "y-young bakugo... and young todoroki, run away! they're... too.. dangerous..."

"are you insane, old man?! we won't go anywhere!! look at your state!" bakugo replied.

"just g-go! do as i say! i can handle this!! t-these... people are too dangerous!"

"tch. let's go half and half bastard." todoroki and bakugo ran away and decided to call for help.

izumi was just quietly standing, staring at all might all along. the impact of the nomu hitting him still gave out smoke, but disguised in those smokes are the steams, indicating that all might is any time bound to return to his skeleton state.

izumi smirked to himself as he saw it happening. his green eyes shone once again, as he spoke the following words.

"checkmate."
