*5 years later*

"I'm so nervous, Mikes" Gerard breathed out straightening his tie as he looked at himself in the mirror.

"You're marrying your best friend who loves you more than anything, Gee. There's no need to be nervous." Mikey smiled, pulling his brother into a hug.

Gerard knew there was absolutely nothing to worry about. Jamia and Lindsey had planned the wedding to every minor detail, nothing could possibly go wrong. It wasn't like Frank was going to leave him at the alter or anything either, he loved Gee too much.

But Gerard couldn't help ask himself so many 'what ifs?'. What if he fell down the aisle? What if Frank thinks he looks fat in a suit and runs away? What if Bert rises from the dead an objects? What if it was a bad idea to have the wedding outside? What if a bird shits on his head?

"Mikey, I'm not doing it." Gerard shook his head, feeling his soul pretty much leave his body as the music started playing signalling he'd be walking down the aisle soon after Jamia and Lindsey.

Mikey just giggled, linking with his brother and beginning to walk him down the aisle.

The venue was outside and adorned by multiple different flowers. The few guests were seated on benches that looked like tree logs, and Gerard couldn't help but feel his nerves intensify as they all stared at him.

Gerard only wanted a small wedding. He didn't have many people he'd invite. He chose the small remainder of his family that lived in New Jersey and his best friends. Frank did the same. He attempted to invite his mother who rejected the invitation straight away, but he didn't mind.

A white rug that lay on the grass led the way to Gerard's soon to be husband. He finally made eye contact with the man who stood under the arch that was littered with roses.

He noticed the beautiful man was crying now, wiping his tears with a handkerchief that Pete had handed him. He was in awe of Gerard's beauty, the way his red hair stood out against his pure white suit. The sight truly was angelic.

Mikey gave his brother a tight hug before sitting next to two empty seats at the front of the aisle. The seats where left for the brothers mother and Grandma who would most definitely be crying at the flawless ceremony by now.

"You're so beautiful." Frank breathed out, holding Gerard's hands in front of him.

"I love you." Gerard smiled, feeling his nerves fly away because of Franks touch.

"Friends, we have joined here today to share with Frank and Gerard an important moment in their lives. In their time together, they have seen their love and understanding of each other grow and blossom and now they have decided to live out the rest of their lives as one." The minister began, causing Gerard to smile.

Frank cleared his throat, "Gerard, ever since I had the pleasure of meeting you in a random coffee store I have counted my blessing each day. You will never ever see how amazing you really are to me. From the small snort you make when you laugh, to the way your tongue pokes out your mouth slightly when you sketch. There is no being on planet Earth that could even compare to you, Gee. That's what led me to believe that you're an angel, it's the only reasonable explanation. You're beautiful, funny and I promise that I will spend each day of my life making you feel special. I could ramble on about how much you mean to me but really, I just want you to be my husband already." Frank laughed, causing the guests to giggle slightly.

Gerard laughed through tears as well. He couldn't wait until the end of the ceremony to kiss Frank he just wanted to pull the man he loved more than anything into a kiss right now.

The redhead took a deep breath before beginning his own vows, "Frank, you have a heart of gold. A heart of pure gold that, always puts others before itself. You are the sweetest, most kindest man that I have the pleasure of calling my own. I adore you with every inch of my being. I adore how beautiful you are, and how easy you are to sketch. I adore how funny you are without even trying. And I adore the fact that you spend your days making me feel good about myself and smoothing out any wrinkles my past has created. I love you Frank and I promise to cherish you forever" Gerard breathed out, and now it Franks turn to cry.

Pete smiled, holding a pillow which two rings lay on. He brought the rings in front of the fiances who shakily took them and thanked Pete.

The couple grinned like goofs as they slipped the rings on each other's fingers before gripping hands once again.

"Frank Anthony Thomas Iero, Jr do you take Gerard Arthur Way to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The minister asked.

"I do." Frank answered instantly.

"And Gerard Arthur Way do you take Frank Anthony Thomas Iero to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The minister repeated.

Gerard nodded rapidly, "yes, I do." He squeaked, knowing he could soon kiss Frank.

"Well, by the power vested in me by the state of New Jersey I know pronounce you husband and husband! You may now kiss!" The minister exclaimed.

The couples lips crashed passionately, Gerard's arms hooked around Franks neck and Frank gripped Gerard's waist as if he was scared to let go.

They melted into the kiss, completely ignoring the people who sat watching. They didn't care, all signs of anxiety had vanished.

As Gerard pulled away, watching everyone clap he looked towards his little brother who was now Mikey Wentz and smiled.

It was then he noticed two doves sat in the empty seats that belonged to his mother and grandma. Gerard shook his head in disbelief and couldn't help but whisper a thank you in their direction.

"You ready, Mr. Iero?" Frank asked linking Gerard's arm, getting ready to walk down the aisle.

"Lead the way, Mr Iero." Gerard smiled, staring at his husband in awe.

As the newly weds made their way down the aisle, confetti was thrown into the sky and sprinkled on to both the men.

The doves joined the confetti, dancing around each other and swooping elegantly into the clouds.

Gerard and Franks relationship wasn't perfect, however it was beautiful in a unique way to them. The couple didn't want a perfect relationship, or a perfect life because throughout their story together they realised that the best things in life were sometimes tainted.
